It helps that her best friend, Levi, is also on the team and cheers her on. But Levi’s already earned an Olympic tryout, so Maggie feels, even more, pressure to succeed. And it’s not until Maggie’s away on a college visit that she realizes how much of the “typical” high school experience she’s missed by being in the pool.

Not one to shy away from a challenge, Maggie decides to squeeze the most out of her senior year. First up? Making out with a guy. And Levi could be the perfect candidate. After all, they already spend a lot of time together. But as Maggie slowly starts to uncover new feelings for Levi, how much is she willing to sacrifice in the water to win at love?

Poor girl

 Yes, throw him overboard.

Hate To Love You by Tijan

Soo, this is the 3rd book that I will be reading 📖. 1 in audio format 2 in ebook format. I will be squeezing it in with my math and education class whenever I get a chance. Including if I agree to this job at this daycare I know I will be beaten. 😫💀 but I love to read sooooooo📖.

Hate To Love You by Tijan

Book Review:

This was an ADVANCED READERS copy that I got from the author?

I am glad I actually got a chance to read this book, and I will say I was not disappointed I love reading a book by an author and every book I read by them be GOOD. Sometimes that does not happen and HATE TO LOVE YOU was good, I really liked to say it was awesome and actually LOVED and cared and Kenz, it was one part in the book where he mentions. ”

“When I see you’re hurting, I want to wipe it away. When I see you doubting yourself, I want to give you the best-damned pep talk in history. When you cry, I want to make you smile. When you laugh, I want to make you laugh harder. When you moan in my arms, I want to make you dissolve into a puddle. When you’re insecure about how I feel about you, I want to replace that with a proclamation that I love you so hard that I love you so hard that I never want you to question us again.”

I love that when he says that to Kenny I mentioned that in a note that “I wish I could find a guy like this”…

This book was really good, and I can’t say Kennedy got on my nerves, but she was targeted a lot from different people, but those guys were definitely wrong for hitting her with that bat. I am like what is wrong with them smh it is crazy how men do a woman and hurt them like they are another man. smh. I hope that Tijan makes a book about both Linde and Casey and Kennedy brother Gage lol.

Book Description:

Rule #1: No hot guys.
It might sound ridiculous. I get it. It kind of was, but college was supposed to be my sanctuary. It was my place to start over. The rumors, the whispers, and the jealousy I endured through high school would all be gone.
No one would know me at college.

Rule #2: No drama.
I’d major in pre-law. I’d make a few loyal friends. Everything would be easy-breezy. No one was going to use me or hurt me. I wouldn’t let them.

Rule #3: New year. New place. New me.

And all because of Shay Coleman.

Football captain and quarterback, he was the big guy on campus. The cocky guy in my political science class with a smirk.

I hated him on sight . . .
. . . and he was about to break all my rules.

Hate To Love You is a full-length standalone.
There are elements that deal with the dark side of college.

😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒 how I feel right now after I finish book 2. 📕………… This Simone heifer is annoying and I’m tight about what she has put Chance through, Gah he was so naive in the beginning.

Book Review:

Spoilers…. Here…

& ….. There….!!!

I am #DEAD!!!! I am here like yassssss “Omari” whoop that trick, whoop that trick.” yasss Simone deserves that *** whooping that Omari gave her, heck not only Omari heck the *** beating that Jimmy gave her was worth it too. I felt like everyone shouldn’t be so hard on Chance because Simone is the caused of everything.

I am weak asab why am I laughing at wth is happening to Simone lmao. The little girls said “RUN LADY, WATCH OUT! I am wondering who done knock Simone out once again; I am thinking Jimmy *** lol. But it’s funny how Ebony thinking Omari, forgave Simone aha; I knew that he forgave her.

Even though Simone is a BITCH, she didn’t deserve to get raped. But truth be told, KARMAS a BITCH!!!! Made me Cringe when she was poked in both areas. That’s worse than what Omari did to her, but look what she did to her friend Tammy, Aiysha, and Ayisha/Omari baby (Dahlia)

But anyways, I hope nothing happens to Chance, I prefer him alive and in jail, plus when and if he gets out “him” better LOVE, Gia back. Also, I agree with Gia when she mentions that Chance was innocent as Aiyesha and Dahlia which is true because all 3 were innocent people, that Simone did wrong by either killing or setting up. I already knew Chance felt bad unlike Simone; her *** still don’t care. But Omari, man I cannot wait until he finds himself, love, because he has been through so much. Plus Simone isn’t dead. Plus Simone isn’t dead, and I cannot wait until I read book 4.

Book Description:

Beauty isn’t everything. Beneath Simone’s long fake hair, phony smile, and saline booty is a web of trickery, lies, and murder. After being attacked by Jimmy, Simone’s web of lies begins to violently unravel. One by one, her skeletons are falling out of the closet and revealing her true colors. While Simone fights to keep the man and life that she stole, Chance is fighting desperately to keep his life with Gia. Amidst the hot and steamy passion, which builds between Gia and Chance like a scorching inferno, is the fear of Chance being locked away for the rest of his life. Secrets of a Side Bitch 2 by Jessica N. Watkins (Author), Cary Hite (Reading), Nicole Small (Reading)

Y’all I’m reading to📖👂📱🎧 part two of Secrets of a Side Pickle… All I can say is Simone makes me laugh, how she thinking Omari is her man and she’s the main pickle head now. When she ain’t crap to him. He only using her and I don’t feel bad at all for her. I do feel bad for Chance so far I do. I can’t wait hoping he snitch on her. Lol. 🙏 if you read this don’t tell me lol.

Book Review:

Here…. And

Man, I hate Simone, she’s ruined peoples lives. Not only has skewer killed Aisha but she killed her baby too. Because she was jealous of both of them. I don’t get how she thinks to murder both Aisha, and their baby would keep Omari. Once Omari finds out she done killed not only his woman but his baby his ass going to go crazy. Heck Simone even tried to take Omari sister baby. Like the girl, you are beyond crazy, and you know in the real world some men and women actually act the way Simone do.

I’m pissed at Gia for snitching on Chance because she was hurt, I blamed Simone for that because she coos that boy into murdering Aisha. I felt like Chance was naive in the beginning until he realized that Simone was a lier. I hope nothing happens to Chance because man I like him but knowing Omari pretty boy crazy self, it’s no telling what is going to happen.

Plus I am wondering if Omari killed Ching or not I hope not UGH.

Nico Storm and his father, Willem, drive a truck filled with essential supplies through a desolate land. They are among the few in the world, as far as they know, to have survived a devastating virus that has swept over the planet. Their lives turned upside down, Nico realizes that his superb marksmanship and cool head mean he is destined to be his father’s protector, even though he is still only a boy.

Willem Storm, though not a fighter, is both a thinker and a leader, a wise and compassionate man with a vision for a new community that survivors will rebuild from the ruins. And so Amanzi is founded, drawing Storm’s “homeless and tempest-tost”—starting with Melinda Swanevelder, whom they rescue from brutal thugs; Hennie Fly, with his vital Cessna plane; Beryl Fortuin and her ragtag group of orphans; and Domingo, the man with the tattooed hand, whom Nico immediately recognizes as someone you want on your side. And then Sofia Bergman arrives, the most beautiful girl Nico has ever seen, who changes everything.

So the community grows, and with each step forward, as resources increase, so do the challenges they must face—not just from the attacks of biker brigands, but also from within. Nico undergoes an extraordinary rite of passage in this brand new world, testing his loyalty to the limits. Looking back later in life, he recounts the traumatic events that led to the greatest rupture of all—the murder of the person he loves most.
