Book Review:

Every little kiss is worth the risk if you find love in the end

This book was good. Has he ending “Paxton said that’s Mens bullseye get to sleep with me. I believe if it wasn’t for Ford Paxton wouldn’t have talked much, because Pax spoke a lot more with the help of Ford and bullseye. I knew that well was hoping Liv forgave Ford for his white lie… I need a guy like Ford ❤ Jesus where he’s at (looking) anyways.

I won this book through good reads I usually don’t get right to the books I won because I am reading other books. But I’m glad I have gotten around to reading this book and happy I won this book. I will also read other books by this author whenever I get a chance.

Hopefully, it’s ones about Liv friends (I see book 1 is about Avery I plan to read that real soon. Hopefully, one about Grace comes soon.)

Book Review:

There’s nothing that single mom Liv Preston won’t do if it means making her six-year-old son smile again. After a heartbreaking two years, her little family is due for some fun in the sun. She just didn’t expect to find it in the big, rugged, Search and Rescue hero next door—who shows her just how exciting, and sexy, life’s adventures can be.

As head of Reno’s K-9 search division, Ford Jamison knows what it takes to make life-and-death decisions on the fly. He doesn’t hesitate, doesn’t do regrets, and has never doubted his instincts—until he makes a promise that turns his world upside down. Desperate for redemption, he returns to Sequoia Lake, only to find himself face-to-face with his past…and the one woman he can’t have. Not when his secret would destroy her—and everything she holds dear.

For Liv, finding love once was a gift. Finding it twice seems impossible, until the moment Ford’s lips meet hers. Love doesn’t always come easy, but when it’s right, it’s worth fighting for…

She was also the loneliest. Looking at Liv was like looking at his mother. Too proud to take help, too tired to enjoy her life. She’d always said she’d get to the fun part later, but Ford had been a wild kid, and for his mom, later never came.

“I don’t see why you can’t wear it,” Liv said encouragingly, but Paxton was sipping his juice. Well, the glass was to his lips, but he was just breathing into the cup and watching the glass fog up.

He might flirt like an outlaw and even go from town to town looking for trouble like an outlaw, but Ford didn’t have the heart of an outlaw, because while he appeared to be a lone gun, Ford craved deep connections.

“Tell me what you need, because I’m listening.” “A partner,” she whispered, her heart pounding against her ribcage until she was sure it would burst free. “Someone who wants to find the same pace with me. Someone to hold my hand and who isn’t afraid to let me hold his. Someone I can count on and who respects the relationship enough to count on me. Someone who knows life is too short not to eat the cupcake first.”

Ford was offering her everything she needed while keeping an eye on his own dreams. That was what a relationship was about. It wasn’t given or take—it was finding the right combination every single day.
