Glad that when I read 1-4 of the bikers series🏍 that took a – kin to Julian and Mattie at least Mattie parent aren’t evil! Glad he got Mattie and Mattie him!
••••****+ Spoilers … a lot to of them… •••••*+
I understand well I really don’t Because I had to be gay to understand but I get what Mattie mean, anybody should gay or straight especially when you know how people treat those who are gay or lesbian and treat them like crap and this book proves it with the football players. I was glad when Mattie finally man up and admit to the world he was gay. And poor Julian if he hasn’t Mattie not sure how his life would’ve been his evil family and the way both his parents treated him and what his dad wanted to do with cousin glad he did what he did to protect her.
But what I do know is I cannot stand evil family members. The family is worse than people who aren’t your family. sometimes it’s ones who aren’t your family who care about you. Glad that when I read 1-4 of the bikers series that the hawks Mc bikers took a kin to Julian and Mattie at least Mattie parent aren’t evil! Glad he got Mattie and Mattie him! I thought it also cute how they met, bet I cringe when they both poke each other it was weird but I also wanted them to smash so tsk tsk lmao. The book was good and I was to learn why Julian shot Clary sister, Amy and he was right family supposed to protect you, and you have those who don’t. And it cruel that his father gave in to his father at 12 years old and Julian dad (father) beat and raped him that was so sad. What he was done and continue doing so as he gotten old.
Plus, with Mattie being 19 and Julian 36? I believe I was like guy to guy or not Mattie put it on him to be seven years old (Julian being seven years older than Mattie) I was like get it Mat lol. I was glad to read they got married (engaged at the end of this book and will have a child).
Living a lie, Matthew ‘Mattie’ Alexander is exhausted. It’s not easy to keep up the pretence, the deceit, but it’s safer. Coming out to a world who so easily hate takes a courage he’s yet to find, so he pretends – pretends to be into women – pretends to love being a part of the university’s football team. It keeps him safe, hidden.
Until he meets Julian.
From the moment they first meet, Mattie knows life is about to change. He’s yet to determine if it is for the better or worse.
Living life through laughter, Julian is lonely. Without the jokes, the humour, he would be living on the edge of depression. Succumbing to his controlling father’s demands, Julian finds no joy in the path laid out before him.
Until he meets Mattie.
As soon as they cross paths, Mattie has the power to drive Julian’s man parts crazy with lust. But can lust be enough to help Mattie out of the closet, and guide Julian into a happier place?
Limits will be pushed. Rules will be broken. But it’s only together, that they will have the strength to overpower fear, fear of themselves and fear of others. Just how far are they willing to go in the aim of coming out?
