Out of the Blue by Lila Rose (Author)

Currently reading📖 “out of the blue” I love this series ⭐️

Book Review:

I’m always down to read a good book.
••••spoilers it’s a possibility••••

I am never disappointed when I am reading this MC hawks stories… they always end up being good. God can I just add that I hope the author makes a story about Nancy and Gamer; because I want to see if they will end up together; even though it will make Talon mad.

But anyways I wasn’t disappointed at all; like God it only took me two days to finish this book, that’s how good it was. I liked how both Easton and Lan took their time with Parker; they knew he needed time; especially Easton. He knew that Parker was confused it took talking to Knife, and a more taking to Liam for Parker to understand his confusion to why he likes the two men his partner and his lover. In the end, he finally came around and found true love that made him happy and smiles more. Can’t wait for the next book; even ones about the kids … This book was worth a 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Book Description:

At forty, Lan Davis is looking for his damned picket fence and 2.5 kids. What he doesn’t expect is instead of a wife in the picture, his mind keeps conjuring up images of two men. One, his partner in the force, who is as straight as they came, the other an ex, who he’d hurt but never forgot.

After an incident leaves Lan injured, the two men rally around him… only maybe they shouldn’t have. It seems a medicated Lan is a truthful one.

Parker Wilding is pissed at the world. His anger builds when his partner refuses medical care after an attack. Instead, Lan entrusts his neighbour to take care of him—a guy Parker doesn’t trust. While he’s aware they share a history,
when the past is revealed, the truth shocks the hell out of him.

Being emotionally crushed ten years ago, Easton Ravel hoped he would never have to see the man who broke him again. Hope is a fickle b*itch. And now he’s not sure how to handle being face-to-face with the man he once loved. Add in the mix the annoying, testy Parker, and Easton finds his limits are pushed.

Just not in the way he thought they would be.

What happens next sure does come out of the blue.

Book Review:

First comes love, baby and then marriage

•••• Spoilers here and there•••••

Okay, I did enjoy this book. I am never the one to be disappointed in reading Emily Goodwin books. She always keeps my interest in her books. I like how both Lauren and Noah got together no matter what “her” family thought of Noah. I felt they all judge him including Lauren; thinking he was going to be the same as he was as a teenager. But in reality, a lot of people change when they have a kid, and you can tell by reading this book; that being with Lauren and having a kid with her changed Noah, and he turns out not like his father. He definitely was good for her; she for him.

Book Description:

First comes love.
Then comes marriage.
Then comes a—

Hold up. You’re joking right? As if life works off a neat little list like that, moving down, checking things off before jumping to the next task. We’re not married. We’re not lovers. Hell, we’re hardly even friends. Noah Wilson isn’t exactly “life partner” material, and he sure as hell isn’t “father material”. He’s my older brother’s best friend, and has been off limits, sworn off, locked in the highest tower and out of reach since we met over ten years ago. With his devilish good looks, tattoos, motorcycle, and trail of broken hearts and tears, I’ve had good reason to stay away from the bad boy my mother warned me about.

Until one night. One stupid, regrettable night that changed both of our lives forever. And now I only have nine months to decide our fate, to see if Noah’s rebel heart is capable of anything more than a one night stand.

This isn’t a love story. This is a life story. And life doesn’t go according to plan.

My current read, very good, so far the girl isn’t annoying 👏🏽48952640_1846444568815105_1558528840127479808_o.jpg

Book Review:

Tomboy and the REBEL = love ❤️

That’s, was it? That was my thoughts when the book ended.

••••spoilers alert 🚨 ••••

This book was even though I wanted it to hurry up and end. I think my brain gets tired when I read for too long. Even, though and itching for more; once I start a good book. This story was awesome. I liked both Darren aka Dare and Melanie aka Tom. They both needed each other to heal what was going on at home. I felt like Maisy was hurting that’s why she picked on Mel, but it took Mel friend Sean actually to take her; opposites always attract. Sometimes you need someone who is different from you or someone who relates to you in both ways. I liked how both Mel and Dare was into photography; I love photography, was a tomboy in my younger teenage days. I wish I had myself a REBEL. Lol, but anywho her friend Gen stayed disappearing after she got into Dare friend Ruby. I wouldn’t mind knowing their story. But this book was good.

Book Description:

For seventeen-year-old Melanie Barton, high school is a war zone. She prefers baggy jeans, cool hoodies, and comfort over beauty. She’s in a constant fight against the popular kids, her emotions, and society. It’s exhausting, and it doesn’t help that things at home are getting harder to deal with ever since her parent’s divorce.

Her one safe place is the photography class. She can see the world through a lens, and there’s no chance at war in her safe place… right?

The war she fights gets ten times harder when the biggest assignment in photography class forces her into close contact with Darren “Dare” Morre, Phoenix High’s very own bad boy.

Dare is bad news in every way. He manages to push every single button Melanie has. They’ll never get along enough to finish this project, let alone ever become friends. She’s doomed. Just being around him makes his ex-girlfriend, Maisy, queen bee at Phoenix High, paint a target on her back.

The war she’s been fighting becomes all-out anarchy.

But something strange happens the more time Dare and Melanie spend together. Maybe the bad boy isn’t all that bad. Maybe he’s just misunderstood. And maybe this tomboy could use a little understanding…

A romantic and remarkable glimpse into the emotional wars of one resilient teenage girl.

The Shy Girl and the Football Star (The Sunday Lunchers #1) by Julia Keanini (Author)

This book is really good but I hate reading books like this; that makes me teary eye 😭…. so sad sheesh.

Book Review:

Ok but “shy girl” I never got that part” because she wasn’t shy tbh
••••Spoilers will be in this review, but not too much. •••••

So, I am going to say this; I was planning to give this book a 3 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️ because Lacey was getting on my last nerve. But after a while, she wasn’t annoying, so I am going to give this book a 4 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I hated the fact that she kept putting girls on Tucker; when Tucker liked her and she was to blind to see it, even when she liked him herself, and put him on other girls that he didn’t want. Then she cries and whines about seeing him with Jamie or the girl Lauren .. like girl can you shut your face; it’s was your own fault. She got on my last nerve when she kept doing that. Not only that even when her friend Ash died she blamed herself when it wasn’t her fault. She didn’t know her friend had a heart condition. But what made it worse for Ash was what Charity did to her that is what pushed her to the end; like her sister, Amber stated “Ash didn’t want to die” I will agree. I think she was hurting and she wasn’t telling people the reason why she was hurt. She wasn’t eating after the incident happens with Lacey sister Charity. That was the saddest part of this book; I was even sad and teary-eyed while reading that storyline it was very sad. I didn’t even suspect that one of her friends was going to die. I was glad that Lacey finally spoke about the way she felt and embraced how she look and feel instead of continuing being sad and upset about how she looked even when she lost weight. She didn’t see in the beginning that Tucker didn’t care about how she looked. He was in love with her since he was THREE. Like she didn’t see anything his brother Jason and her weight blinded her. But in the end, they found each other and became one.

BTW: I also liked the fact that her sister Charity apologized and asked for forgiveness in what she has done to both Ash and Lacey, and she changed from who she was in high school.

I hope that the author made or will make a story about Audrey because I want to know her story. Why she is the way, she is.

Book Description:

A relationship between the nerdy, shy girl and the hot football star can work, right?

The only thing worse than having to go to the same high school as my beautiful, cheer-captain sister, Charity? Finding out she’s dating the boy next door I’ve had a crush on since I was three years old.
Being in the shadow of a girl like Charity would be tough for any little sister, but when I can’t fit the shadow because I’ll never be perky, popular, or a size two? Life is pretty near miserable. At least my awesome friends make high school bearable. But when football stardom and the popularity that brings threatens to take away Tuck, the best of my friends? That’s when something has to change.
A story of friendship, family, tragedy, and most of all romance

Cheat Codes (Dawson Family #1) by Emily Goodwin (Author)

Currently reading 📖 “cheat codes” by Emily Goodwin @authoremilygoodwin.

I am finally gotten around to reading this book. I’ve been had it on my to-read list. This book is really good. I’ve read other books by this author; never been disappointed. But, I need to find out if there are other books to this series, or when the next book will be coming out.

Book Review:

Ok, so what does cheat codes mean lol.

••••spoilers just a few in this short review•••
So I’m a be short for once kind of lol! But anyways I’ve wanted to read this book for a while now glad I did; I was not disappointed. I liked Archer and Quinn story; for one I knew that Quinn was going to end up pregnant, and her family well half of her family wouldn’t be disappointed. But I still don’t understand how Kara; her brother soon to be wife can be mad with Quinn because her due date is around the same time Quinn going to have her baby; like um hello? You cannot change a date when a baby is due. But I am hoping that nothing happens with their baby since she is pregnant and got hit with that door; his brother needs a lot of help and I hope that he does turn his life around, and there’d be a story about him; when he did. Hopefully, something good comes out with the second part of the story with Quinn and Archer; especially with her family (e.g., her brother Dean and her dad Harold). I will be reading part 2 soon.

Book Description:

Archer has always wanted what he can’t have—Quinn Dawson. Since the moment he saw her, he’s been denying his feelings for her, ignoring the void in his heart he knows only she can fill.

Everything about them was wrong, the kind of wrong that felt so right. But none of it mattered. Not the terrible timing. And definitely not the mess it would create if Archer made a move on his best friend’s baby sister.

It was supposed to be one night, but one night is all it takes to make everything more complicated, and they only have nine short months to sort it all out.

No, none of it mattered. Until it did.

Keeping Up Appearances by Elizabeth Stevens (Author)

Swipe left to read some real facts. 👌🏽 but anyways this my current read “keeping up appearances” my brain head to remove itself from the “sex, violence, and abuse” I’ve been reading 📖🤦🏽‍♀️😂😂

Book Review:

Can’t keep up appearances for too long you may end up falling in LOVE 🥰 •X ♥️ Dolly

Okay, I will say this I liked this book once I started it, but then I started to get annoyed with the main girl character because she was a bit annoying and whiny in my opinion. This is where I give this book a 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Star because of Holly.

•••• I’m going to add a few or maybe a lot of spoilers. So If you are planning to read this book don’t read this review because I spilled the beans mkay?•••••
So anyway, I figure that her ex-friend Nancy was behind a lot of things that had ruined Holly friendship with their friends. But when you are reading this book; you realize neither of the people she called her friends were her friends because they turned their back on her; whereas the “Bows” was there for her, and the “Gits” believe the lies and stories that Nancy was spreading around the school. The Bows didn’t believe a word that was said. I like how she actually became her true self when she removed herself from the Gits… I did look as though she didn’t have an opinion, but was very judgmental toward the Bows when she was friends with the Gits. Xander (I hate that name; like how you even pronounce it anyway) 😂 lol. But any-who; Xander (aka X – Zander) is how I say his name; oh back on the topic at hand; Xander he actually brought out the real her, and they both made each other happy. I didn’t blame both Daniel and Rachel be cautious of Holly because she could’ve hurt Xander especially since he did care and liked her… I still think that is why Xander and Jason have a beef with one another. They both wanted; and liked Holly and she was to blind to see because she assumes that Jason didn’t want her and will deny her, and she hated Xander because he was a man whore; she believes the rumors that were spread. In the end, she fell for Xander and learn that Jason did want and like her but Nancy the jealous cunt; lied to him about Holly liking him, and planning to embarrass Holly when she was going to tell Jason how she felt. But what happens was she got the guy and Nancy didn’t. Ha, karma is *****. Can’t be evil; hateful and cruel to people because something will not work out for you in the long run. And Nancy was still bitter at the end of the story when Holly gave her speech.

Book Description:

Three’s a crowd, but four’s a war.

Big girl undies? Check.
Speech planned? Check.
Nerves of steel? Check.
A single crush? …not check…?

What do you do when you find your best friend/crush kissing your other best friend on the day you were going to declare your feelings for him? You only agree to fake date your crush’s rival. The King of the Bows, popular golden (play)boy, and all around douche, Xander wouldn’t be my last choice for a boyfriend.

Across the school, battle lines are drawn and sides are taken between the new ’it’a couple of my former best friends and the excitingly scandalous pairing of me and King Douche.

Xander keeps distracting me from the plan; make Jason jealous. He insists on holding my hand and kissing me and being nice. Ugh. Xander’s not nice and he’s not the relationship type, but he’s doing a damned good job of acting both parts.

He calls it ‘keeping up appearances’, I call it ‘take one more pass at my arse and I’ll break your nose’.

They say all’s fair in love and war, but what’s so fair about falling for the wrong guy when your two best friends are on the other side of the battlelines?

Dark Needs (The Dark Light of Day #1.5) by T.M. Frazier (Author)

A KING series prequel“ ……. Current Read “Dark Needs”… When I think about it as I was reading the first book that goes with this is that it’s best to read this before King 🤷🏽‍♀️ but I like that it’s actually a short read and from Jake perspective and not only Abby ’s.

Book Review:

•••Not many spoilers but some may be mention.••••
When I think about it as I was reading the first book that goes with this one, is that it’s best to read the book before this one than this one. Then, King because you’ll get to see what he had done for KING. But I did like that it’s actually a short read and from Jake perspective and not only Abby ’s. This one was really good I was glad that it didn’t start over again but when they have seen each other again after he killed Owen wack self. I didn’t know he and King met each other in jail. Interesting to see, that’s how they met and all the work he did for King and his friends.

But a revenge kill for your family, with your woman’s permission?
That’s borderline erotic.” – Jake, The Dark Light of Day

The Dark Light of Day (The Dark Light of Day #1) by T.M. Frazier (Author)

A KING series prequel“ ……. my current read.

Book Review:

Dark light of day Jake was her light in the dark world they both live in…

•••••adding a few or more spoilers in this review ••••
This book was actually good; I finally got to see who Jake and Abby was. She definitely needed someone like Jake in her life I think everything would’ve been a lot worse if Jake didn’t pop up the way he did in Abby life. Because that **** Owen I liked him at first; but I knew he was going to try something with Abby when he kept getting her drunk and driven her to his house; and ask her to stay… everything he was taken; and everything he did to her so wrong and dirty. I wanted to kill his *** myself and would’ve done a lot more to him than what Jake actually did to him “a lot more”.. can’t stand a rapist; what I do know I was glad that Jake well glad that Abby gave herself to Jake before Owen wack *** did what he did to her. I just want to smack him myself even if he is a fictional character. All those things Abby been through as a child and teenager; l felt so bad for her, but she was so strong throughout everything she has been through. Those lame people bullying her because of what she wears but doesn’t realize the reason behind it; didn’t have common sense, and jealousy wasn’t a good thing. I laughed when they all looked stupid when Jake loved Abby regardless of how others felt about her and look or if she was weird or not! He still wanted her. That **** Owen didn’t care about her especially when he killed her grandma that was pure evil… then raped her… then shot her daughter… I was glad he met the dirt and Georgia wasn’t his daughter( I knew he wasn’t anyway)… A good book wasn’t disappointed; maybe I should’ve read this before King but oh well!
