The Bible, Inspiration, and Innerancy

Graphic.OpenBible.16x9As a devout Christian, I believe that the Bible is both the inspired and inerrant Word of God. Inspiration can be summarized by the belief that the Scriptures were penned by inspired men of God, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. This inspiration involved the inspiration of the personality of each author of the Bible, as well as the inspiration of words. All of these results in an inspired text (Towns, 2008, pg. 60). Innerancy can be summarized as “the Bible in its original autographs and correctly interpreted is entirely true, never false in all it affirms, whether that relates to doctrine or ethics or to the social, physical, or life sciences” (Elwell, 2001, pg.156). Be Fair, Don’t Compare

There have been so many events and happenings going on in my life these last few weeks, days even. My first two week of school just completed and my eyes have finally wiped away the blurry layer of calm and I can clearly see the calamity on the plate in front of me called THIS SEMESTER! I am also now in a relationship and that has been an exciting and fresh new part of my life. God has been extremely great to me!

CSI Season 14 Finale

The TV and Me

There’s 2 reasons I really really enjoyed the season finale of CSI. First off, I didn’t even realise it was the finale. To some that might seem slightly strange but for the life of me I can’r remember a season finale in the past few years that didn’t involve some sort of cliffhanger or high paced episode that’s over before you know it. Don’t get me wrong I do like a good paced show and a cliffhanger here and there is fine but it just seems that lately everyone seems to think that the final episode of a season will make people come back for the next season. If you like the show, you’ll come back.
