My High School Christmas Boyfriend (Boyfriend #1) by Kylie Key

I like reading a book that can keep my interest. I’m almost finish reading this book. I do wonder if there will be a third book. Since this the first book and I already read the second one!

Book Review:

This was a great read interesting how they met. 🙃

Spoilers? Hmm maybe? Let’s see! There could be a lot of splashes 💦 here and there. 💦📖

I liked this book. I don’t think I would’ve ended up disappointed when I did start reading this book. Because for one, when I first started, the book caught my attention, and I didn’t want to stop reading because I wanted to know what will happen next.

Not only that, but I was also glad that Rylee found well more so Aiden randomly popped up at her house unexpectedly. Though neither of them knew that (Aiden was going to show up, though he brought his sister Krystal there for the Christmas lights and decorations) whereas Rylee spotted him outside of her street in front of her house.

But the only bad thing about when they saw each other again. Her aunt was horrible towards Aiden and his little sister, who has a disability. I wouldn’t say I liked it one bit. I like that Rylee put some sense into her aunt’s head because I think she needed to hear what Rylee thought. Plus, Rylee was ignoring her too. But what I did like was the apology that Rylee’s aunt gave Aiden about what she said about them both especially his sister. Because of how she was feeling when it came to her son that was talking from her, who also had a disability who didn’t live long and died at four months. That was just sad.

I did like that Rylee’s aunt invited Aiden and Krystal over to make Rylee Christmas better. Since technically she did ruin it and also her parents weren’t coming until later because of the weather. But she (Rylee aunt) invited Aiden’s parents and grandparents over, which was good. Rylee’s parents finally came, and they liked his mom’s candles, which was a good thing. Because I thought she could make a living off of selling candles.

It also sucked about his dad, but I also thought disabilities and health issues might run in his family. Which so sad, especially with his sister. But I thought she was adorable. 😍

Book Review:

Pretty good read; had me not wanting to stop reading!

***Spoilers; splash here and there***

This book was really good. I figure her best friend, Caroline, was trash and didn’t care about Beth. Even Parker didn’t like Caroline; he probably thought that something wasn’t right with her. He also didn’t like Jared for personal reasons, but he knew that Jared was trash.

I was glad when Beth figured out that both Caroline and Jared weren’t good people in her life. I mean Jared even showed proof of that after the accident that Beth was in…. he came to the hospital to talk smack to Parker, and stated how he was going to get Beth back. Like boy no, your garbage. I was like Beth woke up and heard everything that was said. And dismissed Jared from her life for good.

She even dismissed Caroline when Caroline blew her phone up with text messages. Beth figured things out when it came to Parker and his feelings and her own feelings. At first, she pushes him away, but after talking to her sister & then the accident where he saved her, she knew that Parker was meant for her. He may have been a “Stand-In” boyfriend, as everyone stated, but he was a perfect boyfriend for her.

Beth Bennett’s life is perfect. She’s convinced she has it all—the world’s best friend and the world’s best boyfriend. Now if only she could get the two to get along. With her spring break trip to Aspen just around the corner, Beth feels the pressure to spend time with both the guys in her life. But as usual, her older sister throws a wrench into Beth’s plans by hijacking her perfect spring break with a shotgun wedding.

As Beth scrambles to balance being a girlfriend, best friend and sister, her perfectly planned life spirals out of control. As always Parker is there to catch her. The Holiday Boyfriend: A Second Chance Christmas Romance (Boyfriend #4) by Christina Benjamin

At first I am like ehhh. 20 some chapters. I am glad that so far it’s good. I just hope by chapter 15, I don’t end up tired of reading like I normally do with certain books that good!!!

Book Review:

Holiday Boyfriend

Spoiler.. thrown here and there.

Wow, I didn’t know that this book was going to end like that. Wow! I was confused!

But I can say this; this book wasn’t a disappointment. It was a good read. I liked the story!

I thought it was cute, but also believed that Emma was kind of mean towards Will didn’t give him enough credit, when it came to his feelings and when it came to Liz. She was always quick to assume things instead of thinking things through and asking questions.

I was glad she realizes her feelings for Will instead of running away from him always. She knows that he didn’t fool around or lost his V-Card to Liz when she heard Will blast, Liz, out at the rooftop Christmas party. I was glad she heard it because it shows her who Will truly was and that he didn’t change.

Also, she knew she was wrong to run away from issues, especially when it came to her father and standing Will up at the dance.

I was also glad she had a talk with her father and realize he actually still loved her and wanted her around. Even her mother knew everything, and Emma assumes her mother was still hurting. But the talk with her father made her understand a lot of things and even got her to like Tara, which turn out to be good. She got a brother out of the deal, which she learned to love and become close too not only that she had another brother on the way.

A lot of things she had to thank Will for because he helped her through a lot when it came to her family and even Will. & she also helps Will have a good family Christmas and even Colin; her step-brother ended up with the best Christmas ever.

My High School Fake Boyfriend (The Boyfriend Series, #2) by Kylie Key

This book is actually pretty good. First time I ever read a book. Where the guy didn’t know everything was FAKE!

Book Review:

Spoilers.. thrown here and there in this review…
I read this book in like one day. Though I finish it at 1 am close to 2 am… this book I liked it. It was different, especially when it came to Peyton, not knowing about being a FAKE date for Mattie.

I felt bad for him; only reason he found out was because of Josh. Though I think Josh hated on him. & wanted to make him feel bad about himself and have him thinking Mattie didn’t like him. She only wanted to use him to make “Josh” jealous.

When that is the TRUTH of it all, but Mattie ended up falling in like with Peyton at the homecoming dance. She didn’t care about Josh. After that, it was more so about Peyton. Even when she got her phone taken away from her, she was trying to find him. But what ends up happening was Peyton finding out the truth from her best friend, Bella.

I understood why Bella told Peyton; I would’ve too. I did felt bad for him. I also thought, 9/10, he probably was a handsome boy even though he had the “port-wine birthmark” from birth. People can be harsh and mean. I understood how he was kind of hesitant about certain things that were happening.

I also know her dad was going to like him since Peyton, a Bears fan..🤣 & her (Mattie) mom and brothers going to like him too. I wanted to see if and when he meet her parents and brothers, but that never happened in the book. But it was interesting to learn who Katrina was 🤷🏽‍♀️… and I see why his uncle Luke knew things that were going on in school since Katrina was Mattie volleyball coach. & wind up -dating Peyton Uncle Luke…. very interesting and Peyton learning who Katrina was, was priceless.

But one thing I can say I was freaking died laughing at the part about the burnt pizza that her brothers tried to make… that was the funniest part of the book. I cracked up so hard at that. & Mattie said she tried to laugh at what happened, but tbh I would’ve died laughing. Even though my mom would’ve been fussing and me ending up grounded. But Mattie holds her laughter, though!!!

Btw: I can’t wait to read the first book to this series I think it’s a Christmas book. I can’t remember 🤣🤷🏽‍♀️… but not only that, I can’t wait for the next two books to come out about Bella – “My High School Billionaire Boyfriend” and Tanchia, “My High School Quarterback Boyfriend”… I’m going to be on the lookout for those books.

Book Review:

Pretty good read, can’t lie. Maybe the trade was good for him, yeah?? I mean, the book title clearly says it “The Trade.”

****Spoilers? Hmm, 🤔 there’s a possibility of a few being splash 💦 here and there in this review📖*****

Okay, so I had this book on my TBR list to read I’m glad I got to read it. Also, it’s another book I think it was “The Line Up” since I saw it floating around last year!

But anyway, I liked this book. The sad thing was all that crap Cory was going through I felt so bad for him. Especially when he got sick and on top of all the crap the media and the Rebel fans put him through!

I didn’t blame him on the break up with him and Natalie. Since he wanted a BREAK, whereas she told him they might as well BREAK UP for Good! She did that because she was upset, which I understood because he asked her for a break!

Though, he told her to stay in the hotel room. I mean, she didn’t listen. & all that crap that happened made him snap and said things that he didn’t mean. It took them seven months to get back together. Which I think was well needed, because it’s a lot of things that Cory needed to work out with himself.

I think Natalie didn’t understand, even when he came to her and ask for forgiveness at her brother Jason’s fundraiser. She pretended like she didn’t understand or didn’t hear him. But she did since she responded to him. & ended up getting him upset and walking away again. Only for her dumb self realize what JUST happened once he walked away when the guy Nicholas walked up to them.

I kind of thought Natalie didn’t understand what Cory went through; he was losing hair and everything. It took him to faint in the locker room to text her brother with worry about what was going on with Cory. For her to come around, which I was glad for. Since I could tell, she cared about him though she was in denial.

Though; that’s what I thought he was doing holding his feelings in when he saw her at the dugout. But I was glad in the end that they worked things out, and he finally got those horrible fans to approve by stating.

“They can take the bat I just used to hit this team to victory and shove it right up their asses.”

It took him to say that and putting up his middle fingers to get approval all smh 🤦🏽‍♀️ though some still can be mean to him.

Also, I cracked up when he learned the reason behind the name boss. They told him a different story; up until they told him about getting Natalie back. The whole time it was about how BIG he was packing.

Besides that, I can’t wait to read Jason and Dottie’s story because lord, he had me cracking up because he’s ridiculous. & the crazy thing is that was the first book I put on my TBR list for this series that I wanted to READ but forgot!!!!

Can you pinpoint a time in your life where you realized you are completely and utterly screwed?

I can. I got the dreaded phone call, the one every baseball player hopes and prays never comes.

I was traded. Yeah, that phone call.

Traded from my long time team of over ten years. And not just to any team, but my childhood rivals; the Chicago Rebels.

Completely and utterly screwed, right? Wrong. The trade was the least of my concerns.

I met a girl. Natalie. Man, she’s perfect.

I swore I would never get involved with anyone during the season. Too complicated. But can you believe I have zero restraint when it comes to this girl? I couldn’t get her out of my head and the more I talked to her, the more I realized I needed her in my life.

So what’s the problem? Why am I screwed? Because, Natalie, the girl I can’t stop crushing on, yeah… she’s married.

At least, that’s what I was told…

Something New by Amanda Abram

Currently reading “Something New” & hoping Cassie (the girl who has the same name as me “Cassandra”) doesn’t go back to her cheating ex-boyfriend.

Book Review:

It was definitely something new going on even something BETTER!!

Will there be spoilers? Maybe who knows until this review is written.

Okay, I would like to start and say that Elijah was trash for thinking that Cassie was going to take him back so fast. Not only that, make things into a joke, especially when he didn’t run behind Cassie when he was caught kissing his ex-girlfriend Hannah. It was Dylan who chased Cassie. Not only that, but it was also other situations between him and Cassie that he didn’t run behind her. It was always Dylan who did.

I couldn’t understand how he thought nothing was going to become of their (Cassie and Dylan) relationship. Especially when they were always together and looking out for each other.

What made it worse he didn’t want Cassie like he thought he did. For him to ruin his friendship and get mad at both Dylan and Cassie was a waste of time. Because of one, Cassie knew that he was still in LOVE with Hannah and knew that their relationship was going to end eventually. Which I agree on because he acted all shocked about getting caught kissing Hannah.

Then on top of that, he fought Dylan over Cassie for nothing when he still was in love with Hannah. If he wanted Cassie, he would’ve traded with Dylan when they had picked names out of the bucked during class. But Cassandra learned the truth behind the name picking.

Elijah didn’t want to trade Dylan; he wanted to stay partners with Hannah, whereas his best friend ended up partners with Cassandra. Like everyone else, I, too, thought that Dylan was a good match for her. She and Elijah weren’t fit for one another. Because in the back of Cassie’s mind, Elijah would’ve always had feelings for Hannah and wanted to be with her.

Heck, I figured that the before Cassie even mentioned it and even the proof where Dylan told Cassie when he learned his true feelings for her. Was when she was sitting on Elijah’s car, staring at Elijah watching Hannah in a bindi and being around Hannah and her friends all day. It was Dylan who went and kept her company until Elijah finally figured out who his actual girlfriend was.

In the end, I was glad that Elijah came to his senses after Cassie told him off to where he learned the truth of what she felt and where his feelings were at. Plus, he got the stick out of his behind when he learned that his best friend was moving away, which did it for him. Because he knew he didn’t want to lose his best friend.

I was glad all three of them work things out with each other and stayed friends, especially Dylan and Elijah! Dylan and Cassie ended up getting back together, and Dylan also got his friends back.

Though I still say that they weren’t his friends, I mean NOT one was a TRUE friend, they all sided with Elijah over Dylan, which was wack in my opinion.

They felt like just cause Elijah cheated, they will take his side over Dylan, who ended up being there for the ONE girl that Elijah hurt the most!

Book Description:

Cassie Briggs never thought she’d be married at age sixteen—especially not to Dylan Meyers, her boyfriend’s best friend. Of course, they’re not married for real. It was supposed to be an easy A, but now Cassie is not so sure. Getting paired with Dylan is bad enough, but then Cassie’s boyfriend Elijah gets paired with his ex-girlfriend, Hannah: the former childhood sweetheart who broke his heart. The girl who took him months to get over—if he’s ever gotten over her at all.

When the project leads to inevitable heartbreak for Cassie, she begins to find comfort in the most unexpected place: her pretend husband…her now-ex-boyfriend’s best friend…the last guy in the world she should be growing closer to. And as Elijah vows to stop at nothing to win back Cassie’s heart—despite being the one to break it—Cassie soon finds herself facing her own important life decision: does she want to give Elijah a second chance? Or could she be ready for something new?

The Wrong Prom Date (The Wrong Match Book 3) by Alexandra Moody

Ohh I can’t until she learns his true feelings! & who really wrote that poem…

Book Review:

Really Good!!!

^*Spoilers? Maybe a possibility!!

I was excited to read this book; I actually couldn’t wait to read it because I wanted to see what happened when it came to Hayley and Ethan. I also was wondering why Teagen wasn’t brought up in this book a lot the way Hayley was brought up in the other two books. Heck, even Evan wasn’t brought up that much in Hayley’s book either.

Other than that, it was good. Kept me wanting to read more. I was glad that Hayley didn’t fall for Owen bull-crap, and finally figured out what type of person he was. I mean, everybody was telling her how Owen was, and she finally saw his TRUE colors. & realize how amazing Ethan was after she fell for him though she was blinded by who Ethan liked. I mean, his best friend Isla was giving her so many clues as to who Ethan wanted, but clearly, Hayley couldn’t figure it out. Even after they broke up (fake relationship), she still thought Ethan liked some other girl (Laurie), and only time she knew he wanted her was when they were on the way to prom, and he had candles lit. But he had to tell her who the girl was.

Which was her. Smh! I was glad she figured it out and understood which brother she needed to be with. But what I wanted to happen was him telling her who that poem was written about in seventh grade.

Book Description:

Can a fake relationship land her the prom date of her dreams?

Hayley Lawson had no chance of getting a date to prom. Thanks to a rumor gone wrong, the boys at school were all convinced she was only interested in dating college guys. She certainly wasn’t holding her breath waiting for someone to ask her to the big dance.

But, when her long-time crush returns to town, Hayley’s hopes of landing her dream date suddenly reignite. Owen Beck was everything she ever wanted in a guy, but after years of waiting, she couldn’t rely on fate alone to bring them together. If she wanted to go to prom with him, she was going to have to put her heart on the line and ask him herself. Her promposal doesn’t exactly go to plan though, and when Owen’s twin swoops in to ‘save’ her, she ends up in the arms of the wrong brother.

She might still have a chance with Owen though. Ethan knows his brother better than anyone, and he seems to think a bit of good old fashioned jealousy might just get Owen to ask Hayley to the prom himself.

A few weeks faking a relationship shouldn’t be too hard. After all, Ethan is nothing compared to Owen. Right?

The Wrong Costar (The Wrong Match #2) by Alexandra Moody

Currently reading… “The Wrong Co-Star” ….. I’m at 48/100 in my reading challenge. Though it’s a lot of books I want to read that I am trying to get around to reading. This is one of them.

Book Review:

Spoilers? The possibility there’s spoilers listed!!
So okay! This book was as good as the first book. I wasn’t disappointed at all. I knew that both Teagan and Liam were going to end up falling for one another.

Not only that, I felt that Teagan was mean to Liam and didn’t give him the chance to show her who he was. She judged him based on what she saw on the blogs, news, magazines, etc. She learns he was a nice person when he saved her from those guys who were fighting in front of her.

I was glad she stopped being mean to him. Because he wasn’t mean to her, I think he was doing things to get attention from her. Plus, she had a stick up her behind because of what was going on with her mom.

When it comes to her mom, I was glad that she talked some sense into her mother. & her mother finally figured out that she needed help. Not only her mother, Liam finally sticking it to his mother. What I realize a lot of times teenagers and children who are thirteen and younger parents control their lives and also become money hungry when their child becomes a star (actress). I don’t even understand half the time why children or even teens look for their parents to become their managers. Half the time, the parents can be evil and controlling. I was glad that it took what that director Jake? 😢 I think that was his name 😩🤣 I don’t know how I forgot. But it took for that guy to talk some sense into Liam for him to stick it to his mother. & I was glad.

Because Liam went ahead and did the play and didn’t ruin it for Teagan and the other castmates she in drama class with, at least he (Liam) was committed, and Jake (the director) understood and didn’t fired Liam from the movie. He gave Teagan a position in the film, which was GREAT!

I can’t wait to read the story with her best friend, Hayley.

Book Description:

When Teagan lands the lead in her school play, the last thing she expected was for Hollywood heartthrob and notorious bad-boy Liam Black to be cast as her costar. The whole school is buzzing with his arrival, but she couldn’t be more annoyed. How can she possibly shine on stage when the limelight is focused entirely on him?

Liam might be at Lincoln High to prepare for his next movie role, but just because he can act doesn’t mean he’s the perfect guy for the part. He’s got a bad reputation. He doesn’t take their play seriously. And, worst of all, he and Teagan can’t stand each other.

They’ll have to learn to work together if they want the play to be a success, but the more time they spend together the harder it is to ignore the sparks flying between them on stage.

Good chemistry is just a part of acting though. Teagan and Liam are only pretending. Right?

This book is a full length, standalone romance.

Just For A While by Zøe Haslie

When I first started this book, it kind of started off blah. But as I kept reading it, it caught my attention more. I was glad I kept reading. “Just For a While”

Book Review:

Hmm, pretty good!!!

••Spoilers, not that many, but a few•••

So when I first started this book, it was dulled in the beginning. But as I kept reading, it got good. I was stuck between good and ehh when it came to this book.

Was I disappointed in this book? No, because it kept my attention. No one annoyed me in this book lol. I only thought that Charlie could’ve given her father a chance in the beginning. But she was holding a grudge without even asking him his side. So many kids would love that. But at least, in the end, they ended up talking, and she forgave him & wasn’t so mad anymore about what her mom told her about her father.

Plus; Misha was mean to Charlie, I was glad he was man enough to have a talk with her about why he did what he did. Because I felt that he shouldn’t have got mad at Charlotte because she kept Olivia being pregnant from him. When she was only looking out for Olivia, I glad when he understood that and went back to get his girl because he knew that Charlotte the one for him not only that I hope that Olivia and Misha’s mom comes around and become a better mother. Because that lady is horrible, especially when it came to her husband vs. her son smh 🤦🏽‍♀️… the way I saw it Daniel was the mother thought he was a father figure to them because their father died and he once dated their mother.

Besides that, I FREAKING love ❤️ Misha’s name..😩
