The Holiday Boyfriend: A Second Chance Christmas Romance (Boyfriend #4) by Christina Benjamin

At first I am like ehhh. 20 some chapters. I am glad that so far it’s good. I just hope by chapter 15, I don’t end up tired of reading like I normally do with certain books that good!!!

Book Review:

Holiday Boyfriend

Spoiler.. thrown here and there.

Wow, I didn’t know that this book was going to end like that. Wow! I was confused!

But I can say this; this book wasn’t a disappointment. It was a good read. I liked the story!

I thought it was cute, but also believed that Emma was kind of mean towards Will didn’t give him enough credit, when it came to his feelings and when it came to Liz. She was always quick to assume things instead of thinking things through and asking questions.

I was glad she realizes her feelings for Will instead of running away from him always. She knows that he didn’t fool around or lost his V-Card to Liz when she heard Will blast, Liz, out at the rooftop Christmas party. I was glad she heard it because it shows her who Will truly was and that he didn’t change.

Also, she knew she was wrong to run away from issues, especially when it came to her father and standing Will up at the dance.

I was also glad she had a talk with her father and realize he actually still loved her and wanted her around. Even her mother knew everything, and Emma assumes her mother was still hurting. But the talk with her father made her understand a lot of things and even got her to like Tara, which turn out to be good. She got a brother out of the deal, which she learned to love and become close too not only that she had another brother on the way.

A lot of things she had to thank Will for because he helped her through a lot when it came to her family and even Will. & she also helps Will have a good family Christmas and even Colin; her step-brother ended up with the best Christmas ever.

The Goodbye Boyfriend: A Friends To Lovers Romance (Boyfriend #3) by Christina Benjamin

This is book 3 to the “boyfriend” series & I can say that so far this one is by far the best one. Out of the other two. Though I liked book one. But Nate got me gone in this book he is hilarious 😆🤣👌 I’m loving it!… especially when he disses the three Ashley’s for Cami… 👏🏽🙌🏽. & I can’t wait until he learns what Cami secret (I was about to give a spoiler here but stopped)… I can’t for him to learn her secret because I know he’s going to think she’s beautiful regardless. Though she thinks he’s going to run when he sees her without hair (wig) etc.

Book Review:

This book made me sad and happy I even laugh a couple of times.

••Spoilers,? It depends on my thoughts!!•••

I think that this book was the funniest and the saddest. Because for one, Cami knew that she was going to die. Even Nathan knew she was going to die in the end. That what made everything sad.

But what I liked was how Cami met him in her last year of high school. He made her feel a lot of things that I was glad of because I felt like she shouldn’t want to kill herself because she didn’t want to live with cancer anymore.

The sad thing was she died from a heart attack. I knew when I read the end of that section in that chapter when Nate left her house to pick up his mom that she was going to die in her sleep. I felt it because of the way her heart was doing; the good thing is, at least she died happy and not sad. The sad thing is Nathan lost his true love.

But I think he’s going to find love again as I said that he was reading Cami letters. I was glad she told him to continue to live, be happy, and find love again. Towards the end well at the end. He met Zoe, and I hope that who he finds it in since she likes that same candy that Cami likes. I felt that Cami brought Zoe into Nathan’s life.

What I felt would’ve been nice was Nathan would’ve gotten a story with Zoe. At least.

Kissing the Enemy: A Sweet YA Boarding School Christmas Romance (Kiss Academy Book 3) by Julia Keanini

The second book that I am reading this year. “Kissing the Enemy”…

Book Review:

He wasn’t her enemy.

***Not that many spoilers; just a few***

Before I even get started on reading, wait for no lol! Before I even get started on this review, I am going to mention something about Dakota…

I’ve wanted a book with Dakota and Alana.. okay, I got it with Alana. Now I am waiting for the author to write this book about Dakota and some mystery guy. I do wonder if it’s one of Nash’s friends. Who knows… I am going to be checking none stop for that next book too lol.

But anyway, back to Alana story… I liked that Beckett wasn’t taking no for an answer when it came to his feelings for Alana. He proved her wrong when it came to her family, not liking him (well more so her Abuela)…

He proved a lot to her by coming to Europe and transferring to Kiss… that is what I liked. A lot of people need guys like that… but she was annoying in Europe though; because she was a downer just because he wasn’t there with her. I think her friends dealt with their boyfriends, not being there with them all the time…

Book Description:

He’s the enemy. But what if I kiss him?

The last thing I expect when I’m home from Kiss Academy for winter break is gorgeous, charming, funny Beckett Clark: the guy I crushed on hard in middle school. But I’m a few years beyond that now–star goalie at one of the best schools in the world and friends with literal movie stars. Yet somehow, when I see those gray eyes again and he asks me on a date, I fall hard.

Which in and of itself is stupid since he lives in South Carolina and I go to school in California. But the distance isn’t the hurdle I’m worried about. Because, you see, Beckett Clark is the enemy. And nothing short of a Christmas miracle can change that.

Kissing the Enemy is a stand-alone romance and the third book in the Sweet and Wholesome YA series, Kiss Academy

Book Review:

This book was good; I was rooting for Jamie, and Cole to come around!

••••**** Just a few little spoilers in this review•****••••

The “other” Jamie; she let Jamie control her and everything that is going on in her life. From her clothes, the way she looks and the guy she likes. She’s so afraid of Jamie that she doesn’t have her own mind. I cannot wait until she grows one so that she can’t stop letting Jamie control her. The other Jamie needs Cole in her life. I cannot wait until Cole; probe to Jamie that he wants the “other” Jamie instead of her ass. I can’t stand that Jamie girl. The other Jamie; she doesn’t seem to bad; especially when she becomes her true self and not be who Jamie wants her to be. Hopefully, she becomes friends with Lacey and her friends once she showed her real self. But I am wondering if the “other” Jamie is the Jamie that was supposed to be friends with Lacey and her friends before their friend Ash had died, and the other Jamie became a cheerleader… I can’t seem to remember which Jamie it was.

Oh, I love this quote of what Ella said to the “other” Jamie “Are you sure? Because sometimes, no matter how much our friend likes a guy, if the guy doesn’t like her back, it won’t work out.” Lord, I hope and can’t wait until the other Jamie (Jamie Jenkins) understand that Cole not thinking about Jamie (the evil on one). This other Jamie is so dumb she let her friend talk bad about her talk about her weight etc., and she still friends with her. Even after the fact she (her friend Jamie) disrespected her brother girl Ella & still wants Cole after the fact she knows the “other” Jamie wants him / have a crush on him. Gosh, I want to smack the other Jamie so bad for being so ignorant and dumb minded ugh! This girl is so annoying! Gah!
But, the other Jamie seems happier since she got (well so, “devil” Jamie got rid of her)… like Ella said Jamie was toxic; she wasn’t good for the “other” Jamie. Once she was done with devil Jamie. Everything went well for her again! & in the end, I was glad that the “other” Jamie made great decisions; made new and better friends; apologies to many people she hurt. She seems happier since Jamie not in her life. Funny how “evil” Jamie wanted to hurt her (“other Jamie); but in the end, she was the one life gotten ruined by getting pregnant. Glad, that the guy that evil Jamie got pregnant by; his mom was smart enough not to let her get rid of the baby like she did the first one… Cole best friend Scotty dodge that bullet! & I am also glad that Cole finally stops acting stank and got with “other” Jamie finally it took him long (prom) enough ask her out. I like in the end (five years later; Cole and Jamie got married; Payton got married to Dragon, and Jake and Ella had a baby 😀

Book Description:

He’s the one every girl wants, but he only wants me. Too bad I can’t have him.

Life as the best friend of the most popular girl in school was everything I’d hoped it would be. Granted, people called me Other Jamie behind my back and I have to sometimes be a brat in order to keep my place as said best friend…but it’s worth it. Anything is better than going back to being only known as Jake’s, not as talented, little sister.

But then Cole.  I tried to ignore the way my heart speeds up every time he looks my way. The new boy is only trouble since my best friend has already laid claim to him. There are plenty of other guys and it’s something I make sure Cole understands.

But when I lose everything, it’s easy to see what’s important. But has Cole moved on?
