Book Review:

.=+++&*****Not that many spoilers but I am trying to make my point in this review with my thoughts lol.

I will say it’s funny how she tells Gus how it is, it’s hilarious. I agree with his friend Maxy, “I like her”… LOL, he (Gussy”) about the get in all the spots just to get himself some “Bo. I knew that Bo wouldn’t last long without falling for Gus, because as they say you cannot resist anything that you want. You will give in to temptation, and she also did, that part where she first ends up in the ER smh with the skate incident; which could’ve been avoided smh, lol. It was both their fault, but I liked how they both were they for each other when they both kept ending up in the ER.

Not only that I do think that Bo, but she’s also not trying to tell anyone the reason behind why she lost her scholarship to an Ivy league college. & not only that she gets weird when Gus kept asking about the kid in her phone, I still think the kid is her son, and she got pregnant, and that’s why she lost her scholarship. This my gut feeling; and I am always right.”

And ding ding ding, I was right, Bo is Davis mom. & Bo mother is a straight bitch. I’m hoping by the end that she can get her son back and be with Gus as a family. Her mom doesn’t deserve Davis, because the way she’s talking down on her daughter who’s Davis mom. What a bitch even, Bo dad Taylor knows Rachel being a cunt.

I was glad that Gus finally found out that Davis was Bo, son like took him long enough if it wasn’t for Gus mom telling him, I bet 100% that Bo would’ve taken that shit to her grave, smh. He hasn’t kept any secrets from her, and he told her, but she wanted to get stank mad and cry like girl shut up, he cared and wanted to know the story of what happened.

The fact of the matter is Gus has proven to her that he cares about her so Much. But in her mind, she’s not there yet. It’s hard for her to believe him because one he’s a hockey player two she dated one who ended up pregnant by. But she needs to realize that Gus isn’t Jesse.

She mad annoying because she felt like she can up and leave, but if Gus does the exact thing she’ll be mad as hell. I wanted to smack her in chapter thirty-one.

But in the end, I was that she realized that she can’t live without Gus and got her man back 2ho never stopped loving her. Not only that I also was glad that she and her mother Rachel finally made up. Though it sucked that she wouldn’t have Davis back as her son, it’s good that she still be there for him and with him even if only as his sister.

& before I end this book, I will say I just freaking hate Bo whole name especially that “Jane.”

Book Description:

***MISADVENTURES ARE STANDALONE ROMANCES THAT CAN BE READ IN ANY ORDER***

Winning has always come naturally for stud ice hockey defenseman Gus “the Bus” Persson. On the ice or off, he’s never had any trouble scoring, racking up goals—and girls. As the best player in his rookie class and the number-one draft pick of the Malibu Suns, he’s taking his game to the next level and is justifiably full of swagger.

So why does one of the Suns’ ice girls treat him like he’s invisible?

Bo St. James doesn’t have time for rookie hotshots who think their gloves don’t stink. She knows them, she works with them, she trains them. It doesn’t matter that Gus Persson is the hottest newbie she’s ever seen. She knows his type. She’s got big plans of her own, and she’s not going to let some cocky rich kid athlete keep her from her goals.

But there’s a chemistry between them they cannot deny. A lust that burns so hot, it threatens to melt the very ice on which they make their livings. The game has changed for both of them. Together, can these two play to win?

Book Review:

This book was really good and interesting!

¥¥¥••••********So, with that beginning, said there are a couple of irritated spoilers in this review, lol!********•••••¥¥¥</
This girl was so dumb like who in their right mind would let there best friend and boyfriend live with them. Not only that; let them work together in the same place. You can’t trust; everybody, not family, definitely not your friend; it’s only a REAL trustworthy friend who wouldn’t fool around with their friend boyfriend smh; Ananda was so trusting; like dang girl! It was signs there, and she realizes that once Sasha told her; even before Sasha told Ananda I kind of no I was 100% sure Logan was cheating on her with Kenna or whatever her name is that I don’t care to remember. But; Logan and his parents better not be mad when Ananda get it, Carter. I bet he’ll treat her better than Logan would brother or not!

Lmao, Ananda sister I love her. 😂 That song she made about Ananda ex-best friend. Priceless…

Logan, he changed Ananda; more she was a different person than who she truly was. Whereas, Carter didn’t change her; she was more herself with him. He brought out the better in her whereas Logan didn’t. She didn’t have that fire and sparked that she has to Carter then she did with Logan.

Logan is made for Kenna; both crap pot. But it looks like she changes Logan… Kenna probably was always evil and dirty. Ananda was more of a friend to her than she was to Ananda…
The crazy thing is my name is “Cassandra” lmao and the crap her sister done to Logan and Kenna. Is how I am towards my sister boyfriend. 😂 I don’t play about my family.
But I’m still p*** off at Carter for what he did to Ananda no matter if it was a prank or not. I was mad that he let his bean-pie head *** mom get in his head to run off Ananda and even his dad just because he bangs his wife. Like ugh, that had me hot! But glad in the end he learned what a mistake it was, and he went after Ananda and got his woman back. Though, I want to smack him silly. This book was a 5-star rating; I still can’t stand Kenna, his parents (his stepdad Philip) not Wulf and his brother Logan; who couldn’t stand up to his parents and be a real man to be his TRUE self. Glad, in the end, Ananda didn’t become back friends with Kenna after there talk.

Logan Dane.
The beautiful boy I had a crush on. The handsome and successful man I was engaged to. The butthead that broke my heart.

Two brothers, different as night and day. I thought I loved one and hated the other. Until a series of clichéd events happened, and lines were crossed and previous perceptions got turned on their head.

Carter Dane. He’s my boyfriend’s brother. He’s also my best enemy.

My current read “High School Hero by Sherri Renee” 📖… I know one thing this book is good but this girl Kristen getting on my dang nerves. 🙄 cannot stand females who think guys that harm them or others are good to stay just because they are “going through something; have a lot on their plate etc” I want to just smack her through this book even though it’s fiction! I’m here like if this heifer doesn’t go and get her “bad boy Matt” and get rid of “George” who even wanna date someone with that name 😂. But anyway!!

Book Review:

Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️

Let me say this I knew Kristen was going to be mad annoying…

•••• wait before I get into what I got to say; there’s going to be a lot or a few spoilers in my review•••***

So anyways I knew she was annoying because, for one thing, she was mad dumb; naive little girl; due to the fact she let “George” do mean things to her, and not only that use her as a pond in the game him, and Laurie was playing. Instead of her dumb self removing herself from the situation; she kept herself there smh; for these men to come after her like you can’t be that stupid; then get scared; when you find out more truth; then the final truth when the game about to start. I just had to roll my eyes. Because In the beginning, I knew Laurie was up to no good; she ’s not any friend instead of keeping Kristen away from trouble (her uncle) she leads this naive girl into a lion dean. Smh; I hope in the end Matt be there for this girl because lord she’s not smart when it comes to a lot of things; there were so many signs in this book and the signs she was receiving from both George and Laurie; even seen the signs at the mall. She got a peanut brain. It’s crazy how she was that dumb smh. Not to figure out that something wasn’t right. Kristen was so concerned with George getting hurt not realizing both he and Laurie was setting her up to possibly getting hurt or killed. You could tell by the way the author wrote this book; she made Kristen naive and not bright; that’s the whole point of the book to make it more interesting to see what happens next. But; I just wanted to shake Kristen her friend Michelle, and even Matt was smarter then Kristen. Then looked dumb scared when she learned the truth 😂😂😂 I’m like girrrrrl this could’ve been avoided if you broke up with the meat-head….. heck Even Danny didn’t like George; that should’ve told her something. 😂 Towards the end though; I was ready for it to be over with already. These are the hands I would like to use for both George and Laurie 👋👋👋👋 (slaps-two hands-same time) for making that girl Kristen scared to death and scared that something may happen to her.

But I did sort felt bad for Laurie though, because she could’ve threatened her if she didn’t go along with his plan. I hope she did save enough actually to get away from her uncle. Hopefully, the police find her uncle Melvin in the end so he won’t try to hurt Kristen and even Laurie. Her uncle seems like trash for using teens and harming or killing them; like he did the last quarterback. That freaking George I still don’t feel bad, because he knew it could’ve turned bad he didn’t listen. Would’ve been worse if Matt wasn’t there to save Kristen; I was so glad he was because as I was reading and reading about the knifed and he the guy coming toward Kristen I’m like where’s Matt… At least Laurie tried to save her. But she disappears fast 💨 as heck lol. Like poof and she’s gone…. but glad in the end; It was a happy ending.

Book Review:

How about a door down from Abi

***** Oh I pointed out a lot in this book, so be aware of the spoilers because its a lot.****
I was like if Denise comes for her, she better go for that neck. Just by reading this you could tell Denise never liked Abigail. Abi ass kept getting on my last nerve. I know that for sure. Throughout the book from chapter one to chapter thirty-two, she kept saying she was fat; I just kept rolling my eyes, because I am like lord girl shut up already, just exercise and lose the weight so you can be “skinny” … I hate when people who are heavy, medium size or whatever complain about their weight when they can exercise to lose it and eat healthier. Hell skinny people have it hard to especially if they are trying to gain weight. Both are the same people going to talk about your weight size and bullying you no matter if you are FAT or SKINNY… smh! One size is never better than the other; we all need to eat healthily.
But Abi ass also got on my nerves when it came to Jon; Evan liked her and taken her on dates etc., but Jon hasn’t done any of those things that Evan did. He even pushed her on Evan, by saying he liked her. Where all she thought about “Jon; Jon; Jon;” and I’m here like girl, please shut up about Jon. It got on nerves because I felt as though she needed him out her system like seriously; she brushes her off for Bean – pie head ass Denise and haven’t asked her out nor spend time with her even for his brother. I’m waiting on his wack self to diss Denise and actually be there and care about Abi like he is to him may as well say she loves him. Even his parents and her grandmother want them together. Took them fives years sixty-eight days to say they like each other; well him liking her! NOT!!!!!

“Your ‘friend’? You told me you only hang out with her because your mom said you too!” This exact quote irks me because he wasn’t her true friend if he lied to his “girlfriend” about who she is to him. I could smack him to the other side of Mexico. Knowing Abi, her tail still is obsessed and care about him even after the fact that he told Bean pie head I mean “Denise.”

I didn’t even felt bad for Jon when he came to Abi to apologize and quoted to Abi “I got so lost in having a relationship and not wanting to hurt her feelings that I forgot about my feelings—and I guess about yours too.” I would’ve been petty, saying Cee-Lo song “FUCK YOU” even though I’m crying and dying inside.. probably throwing darts at his picture lol. I was glad she brushes him off. Because he been doing that to her a lot especially around pinhead… glad they broke up; funny it took him long enough to realize his dumb mistakes… chapter thirty-two to realize smh!

It’s good to know Jon loves Abi wanted thirty-eight years (chapter 38) to tell her 😂😂 he could’ve been in chapter 20, or when he started dating Denise ass. 🙄🙄🙄
But forgiveness “It means forgiving others and yourself so you can live the kind of life you want.” is the key to a lot of things I already knew she was going to forgive Jon. I think he was just scared. Brained washed when started dating Denise though he says “I had to make you like me, I wanted to spend time with you, any chance I could. I told Denise that my mom was making me hang out with you because she was jealous, and it was the only thing I thought she would understand.” “Not that it was okay to lie, I just… got lost in it all.”

I just wished Jon would’ve told her from the start instead of running from LOVE blah! It’s good to know that Abi finally came to love herself and she stopped her running from things too especially with the situation with her parents. Her moving away from that toxic to end up moving with her G’ma be with those who loved her and cared about her and her well being. I’ll give this book a 4 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ even though Abi on my nerves throughout the whole chapter except chapters thirty-seven thirty-eight maybe thirty-six too.

Book Review:

This was a cute little book. I mean it did take me a while actually to finish this book. Due to the fact of me being in college, and didn’t have time to actually read the paperback books, that I was planning to read, but I finally finish this book that I had started way back in December of 2017. Sheesh, that was way back then can’t even believe that. But anyway, this book wasn’t boring, it was actually a really good book. I don’t think I even added any spoilers in this review. If so beware I guess, HA. Anyways, I liked both Blake, and Gavin story, and how they both fit for each other, they both made each other be a better person, and go for what they want. Especially Gavin Blake was so right for him. Especially when dealing with Gavin parents. Same, for Gavin for Blake… But I kept getting confused by her name I kept thinking she was the guy for 1.5 seconds lol.

Blake Monroe hasn’t had the easiest life, but she’s never been one to dwell on her misfortunes, preferring to see the world as a place where you get what you give.

Having had an especially troubling childhood, Blake’s aware she doesn’t exactly fit the definition of “normal.” Her lack of filter, dry sense of humor, and uncanny ability to read people make her rather unique—and difficult to live with. When her latest roommate has had enough of her antics, Blake decides living with a man might suit her better.

Gavin Gibson’s a dreamer whose artsy aspirations don’t meet the high expectations of his wealthy family. Cast off and cut off, Gavin needs a place to live. When he’s invited to share Blake’s quaint apartment, he cannot pass it up. With a knack for spotting the good in others, Gavin can see past Blake’s quirks—and neither of them can ignore their sexual chemistry.

As sparks fly, their genuine affection for each other grows, and Gavin begins to break down Blake’s defenses. But can Blake open up to reveal the damage she’s worked so hard to conceal?

Book Review:

Mkay, I thought both Cain and Harper was good for each other, But God his name reminds me of the Ken doll, and some author name in a movie I can’t think of.

••• Just a few little spoilers throughout •••**

I was so aiming for Harper not to give Cain her V Card before she found out that she was competition and was placed as the tenth girl. But throughout him trying to rear her in to get what he wanted he (Cain) fell for her hard. Then he didn’t care about that competition that he made when he and his friends were a freshman. All he cared about was Harper; you could tell he cared for her after a while because. She even gave me the opportunity to take her V card, but he didn’t he pleased her differently. He wanted to take his time and be with her. But his friends ruined it for him. Though; I think if he would’ve told Harper about the competition they wouldn’t have broken up. Harper had a right to be mad at him. I hope that though he will go to college, he finished out his degree at the college. Because 9/10 most athletes don’t complete a degree then end up hurt with no backup plan.. but in the end, It was a cute story, glad it ended with a happy ending…

Book Description:

Never play a game you can’t win.

For Cain Kent, that rule is golden. Losing is not in his vocabulary, and up until now, everything has come easy. Football, school, girls … his charm-laced ego may just be bigger than Texas itself.

The competition he started freshman year with his friends, to make ten notches each in their bedposts by graduation day, is practically in the bag. One more to go, and then it’s off to college fame and eventually, the big time. Attachments aren’t something he wants to form, but when the quiet new girl challenges him in front of his classmates, his curiosity is piqued. She would be the perfect final score, and what fun to break her in the process.

Too bad Harper Posy has no intention of being just another warm body, especially to the bad boy quarterback. Even if he does quote Forster and Huxley when no one is listening. An aspiring author herself, Cain and his hidden soft side are dangerous to her heart. She’s seen men ruin her mother’s dreams time and again, and she’s determined to fly far away as soon as she has that diploma in her fist.

But as the school year’s end looms closer, both realize they didn’t quite understand the rules to begin with. Is winning a dirty bet worth the gamble when the stakes, or the other’s heart in this case, are so high?

Harper is the one girl who isn’t up for playing games. And she just might make Cain lose. Everything.

Book Review:

It’s was a good book

••• Spoilers throughout this review••••
So myself is here like REALLY? So they mad Rhys whatever how you say his weird name. Is madder at Anna, but all of them worship the damn grown that Aya walked on when she randomly brought herself back. After the fact that she abandoned both Rhys and her baby. Her own gramma even disrespected Anna, and her father acts as he has no say when Anna is disrespected. Neither of them doesn’t know how Anna, feels or what she’s going to especially with her being “Anorexia, puking up every time she eats food. It’s like her family doesn’t see the way she feels. Even, Rhys, it’s like they turn a blind eye, he even pushes Anna to the side when Aya came back. But now that Aya took his daughter AB, and she traded AB for money. He hates her, smh like really? You knew she had problems with drugs etc.? You trusted her 100% more than you did Anna and didn’t want Anna close because she may leave out of AB life, but Aya comes back it not a problem smh. The stupidity of some people. I didn’t like the fact he blames Anna, for AB disappearance; I understood that she could’ve taken the baby from Aya if she wasn’t so damn scared of Aya telling her family she “Anorexia” and puke up her food. But it’s really not Anna fault you as a person doesn’t know if that person will do such a thing. But now everybody doesn’t trust Aya; HA mkay… watch how quickly Rhys will want to date Anna after the fact everything is settled once AB home.

So the book Rhys name is actually pronounced as “Reece” what the what it would’ve been better with the normal one instead of confused one. Blah, lol.

I just don’t understand like I don’t get it; it’s nothing like the first one this one is a bit weird because it didn’t tell anything about them wanting each other like Lacey and Tucker. It’s was based on Anna puking; having a crush on Rhys; loved his daughter and taken care of the baby more than anyone including Aya (her cousin who also the mother of the child). It talked more about Rhys, his daughter, and Aya, with Anna being a mute and only back talked in certain parts of a chapter. But why do they always end up waiting until the end to get together like ughhhh ten years later? I bet the next book the same if so I’m a be disappointed.
10 YEARS LATER (Like an episode of SpongeBob) ugh!

Book Review:

Tomboy and the REBEL = love ❤️

That’s, was it? That was my thoughts when the book ended.

••••spoilers alert 🚨 ••••

This book was even though I wanted it to hurry up and end. I think my brain gets tired when I read for too long. Even, though and itching for more; once I start a good book. This story was awesome. I liked both Darren aka Dare and Melanie aka Tom. They both needed each other to heal what was going on at home. I felt like Maisy was hurting that’s why she picked on Mel, but it took Mel friend Sean actually to take her; opposites always attract. Sometimes you need someone who is different from you or someone who relates to you in both ways. I liked how both Mel and Dare was into photography; I love photography, was a tomboy in my younger teenage days. I wish I had myself a REBEL. Lol, but anywho her friend Gen stayed disappearing after she got into Dare friend Ruby. I wouldn’t mind knowing their story. But this book was good.

Book Description:

For seventeen-year-old Melanie Barton, high school is a war zone. She prefers baggy jeans, cool hoodies, and comfort over beauty. She’s in a constant fight against the popular kids, her emotions, and society. It’s exhausting, and it doesn’t help that things at home are getting harder to deal with ever since her parent’s divorce.

Her one safe place is the photography class. She can see the world through a lens, and there’s no chance at war in her safe place… right?

Wrong.

The war she fights gets ten times harder when the biggest assignment in photography class forces her into close contact with Darren “Dare” Morre, Phoenix High’s very own bad boy.

Dare is bad news in every way. He manages to push every single button Melanie has. They’ll never get along enough to finish this project, let alone ever become friends. She’s doomed. Just being around him makes his ex-girlfriend, Maisy, queen bee at Phoenix High, paint a target on her back.

The war she’s been fighting becomes all-out anarchy.

But something strange happens the more time Dare and Melanie spend together. Maybe the bad boy isn’t all that bad. Maybe he’s just misunderstood. And maybe this tomboy could use a little understanding…

A romantic and remarkable glimpse into the emotional wars of one resilient teenage girl.

Book Review:

Ok but “shy girl” I never got that part” because she wasn’t shy tbh
••••Spoilers will be in this review, but not too much. •••••

So, I am going to say this; I was planning to give this book a 3 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️ because Lacey was getting on my last nerve. But after a while, she wasn’t annoying, so I am going to give this book a 4 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I hated the fact that she kept putting girls on Tucker; when Tucker liked her and she was to blind to see it, even when she liked him herself, and put him on other girls that he didn’t want. Then she cries and whines about seeing him with Jamie or the girl Lauren .. like girl can you shut your face; it’s was your own fault. She got on my last nerve when she kept doing that. Not only that even when her friend Ash died she blamed herself when it wasn’t her fault. She didn’t know her friend had a heart condition. But what made it worse for Ash was what Charity did to her that is what pushed her to the end; like her sister, Amber stated “Ash didn’t want to die” I will agree. I think she was hurting and she wasn’t telling people the reason why she was hurt. She wasn’t eating after the incident happens with Lacey sister Charity. That was the saddest part of this book; I was even sad and teary-eyed while reading that storyline it was very sad. I didn’t even suspect that one of her friends was going to die. I was glad that Lacey finally spoke about the way she felt and embraced how she look and feel instead of continuing being sad and upset about how she looked even when she lost weight. She didn’t see in the beginning that Tucker didn’t care about how she looked. He was in love with her since he was THREE. Like she didn’t see anything his brother Jason and her weight blinded her. But in the end, they found each other and became one.

BTW: I also liked the fact that her sister Charity apologized and asked for forgiveness in what she has done to both Ash and Lacey, and she changed from who she was in high school.

P.S.
I hope that the author made or will make a story about Audrey because I want to know her story. Why she is the way, she is.

Book Description:

A relationship between the nerdy, shy girl and the hot football star can work, right?

The only thing worse than having to go to the same high school as my beautiful, cheer-captain sister, Charity? Finding out she’s dating the boy next door I’ve had a crush on since I was three years old.
Being in the shadow of a girl like Charity would be tough for any little sister, but when I can’t fit the shadow because I’ll never be perky, popular, or a size two? Life is pretty near miserable. At least my awesome friends make high school bearable. But when football stardom and the popularity that brings threatens to take away Tuck, the best of my friends? That’s when something has to change.
A story of friendship, family, tragedy, and most of all romance

I am finally gotten around to reading this book. I’ve been had it on my to-read list. This book is really good. I’ve read other books by this author; never been disappointed. But, I need to find out if there are other books to this series, or when the next book will be coming out.

Book Review:

Ok, so what does cheat codes mean lol.

••••spoilers just a few in this short review•••
So I’m a be short for once kind of lol! But anyways I’ve wanted to read this book for a while now glad I did; I was not disappointed. I liked Archer and Quinn story; for one I knew that Quinn was going to end up pregnant, and her family well half of her family wouldn’t be disappointed. But I still don’t understand how Kara; her brother soon to be wife can be mad with Quinn because her due date is around the same time Quinn going to have her baby; like um hello? You cannot change a date when a baby is due. But I am hoping that nothing happens with their baby since she is pregnant and got hit with that door; his brother needs a lot of help and I hope that he does turn his life around, and there’d be a story about him; when he did. Hopefully, something good comes out with the second part of the story with Quinn and Archer; especially with her family (e.g., her brother Dean and her dad Harold). I will be reading part 2 soon.

Book Description:

Archer has always wanted what he can’t have—Quinn Dawson. Since the moment he saw her, he’s been denying his feelings for her, ignoring the void in his heart he knows only she can fill.

Everything about them was wrong, the kind of wrong that felt so right. But none of it mattered. Not the terrible timing. And definitely not the mess it would create if Archer made a move on his best friend’s baby sister.

It was supposed to be one night, but one night is all it takes to make everything more complicated, and they only have nine short months to sort it all out.

No, none of it mattered. Until it did.

Idk how many times this girl is going to say “big dick” I mean “cock” I mean I already know it’s BIG the 12 other times … it could’ve been five but felt like 12…
