My High School Christmas Boyfriend (Boyfriend #1) by Kylie Key

I like reading a book that can keep my interest. I’m almost finish reading this book. I do wonder if there will be a third book. Since this the first book and I already read the second one!

Book Review:

This was a great read interesting how they met. 🙃

Spoilers? Hmm maybe? Let’s see! There could be a lot of splashes 💦 here and there. 💦📖

I liked this book. I don’t think I would’ve ended up disappointed when I did start reading this book. Because for one, when I first started, the book caught my attention, and I didn’t want to stop reading because I wanted to know what will happen next.

Not only that, but I was also glad that Rylee found well more so Aiden randomly popped up at her house unexpectedly. Though neither of them knew that (Aiden was going to show up, though he brought his sister Krystal there for the Christmas lights and decorations) whereas Rylee spotted him outside of her street in front of her house.

But the only bad thing about when they saw each other again. Her aunt was horrible towards Aiden and his little sister, who has a disability. I wouldn’t say I liked it one bit. I like that Rylee put some sense into her aunt’s head because I think she needed to hear what Rylee thought. Plus, Rylee was ignoring her too. But what I did like was the apology that Rylee’s aunt gave Aiden about what she said about them both especially his sister. Because of how she was feeling when it came to her son that was talking from her, who also had a disability who didn’t live long and died at four months. That was just sad.

I did like that Rylee’s aunt invited Aiden and Krystal over to make Rylee Christmas better. Since technically she did ruin it and also her parents weren’t coming until later because of the weather. But she (Rylee aunt) invited Aiden’s parents and grandparents over, which was good. Rylee’s parents finally came, and they liked his mom’s candles, which was a good thing. Because I thought she could make a living off of selling candles.

It also sucked about his dad, but I also thought disabilities and health issues might run in his family. Which so sad, especially with his sister. But I thought she was adorable. 😍

While You Were Flirting by Liwen Y. Ho

Currently reading 📖 “while you were flirting” now I see why the title is called what it’s called. I also like this book better than the last book I read!!

Book Review:

Sooo good!!!

Spoilers.. here and there

What a surprise I didn’t know that Nolan was Max’s brother. Well, stepbrother, and been saying I can’t wait until Nolan gets his book. I see why Nolan’s book is going to be last since Max is his stepbrother. Probably more friends are coming in before him. Hence, Nolan and Seth are best friends, and Max and Liam are best friends. Interesting!!

With that being said… I liked this book I wasn’t disappointed at all. To know who the girl that Max chased in the book with Liam and Ava, which was Angel. It was interesting to know.

I was glad that he figures things out and stopped trying to be a player (well more so running from his feelings) Angel helped him with that and he helped Angel with her fears of driving. I think they worked well together. Not only did they work together. But even though they were opposites, they were meant to be.

Even with everything that they said to each other when it came to their feelings, you could tell both of them liked each other. Even Evan and Emma, the founders of the school, saw that in them, especially Emma. I was surprised how Seth never popped up in this book since Evan is his cousin. I’m trying to think was Ava the one that got adopted by them.

Was probably didn’t I can’t remember if it was this series or not!!! But I liked the fact that they both liked Angel and Max… and to also give Max a chance at the acting gig was great for him. I can’t wait until I read the next book to this series about Juliet and Jaxson. I know it’s about to be good and interesting!!!

Except that this guy is Max Parker, the school flirt.

Max

After my parents’ sudden divorce, playing the field seems like a safer bet than commitment. The idea of spending time with one girl never crosses my mind … until I meet Evangeline Evans. Not only because I need her help to pass precal, but also because I like who I am around her.

Book Review:

Pretty good!!

Spoilers. Maybe just a few splash 💦 throughout this review, let’s see 👀…

So okay! I was curious as to what will happen and how it would happen when it came to both Bianca and Ryan. It was interesting to learn that they both had issues, and both ran from problems. Well, more so, Bianca lied about a lot of things. Though she had her reasons. I liked how Ryan taught her that she could be more than prima Donna. He showed her a new meaning of life. Not only that, but Bianca also showed Ryan that it’s okay to care and love someone who you want to be in a relationship with.

He had so much built-up hurt with his father that he was known to run away every time some got tough, more so when his father comes around. I do hope that he gets a chance to talk to his father and work things out with him. But not only that I was glad to read that Bianca finally told everyone the truth and not only that both Ryan and Bianca worked things out when it came to their relationship since Ryan had broken up with her since he didn’t want to hurt her because he felt like he was going to end up like his father a wash-up musician and what not!!!

But his mother shines some light on the situation to help him understand that both she and his father was in the wrong and he and Bianca needed to work things out with one another. & I was glad that they did!!!!

Besides that, I can’t wait to read Colleen and Eve, Story!!!

Book Description:

He thought he had her figured out. Turns out, he was wrong.

Bianca
Everyone at the ballet academy think they know me—the prima donna. The diva. The mean girl. They’re wrong.
What they don’t know is that I’m moments away from losing my meticulously planned out life. I’m not one to show weakness but my ankle has a different agenda. Adding Ryan to that equation only complicates things more and suddenly the only person who can save my future—and my secrets—is the one person I’m not sure I can trust.

Ryan
I’ve spend my life not caring. If it doesn’t involve Mom or my kid sister, Rosie, I don’t care. Period.
But there’s something about Bianca. Something about her desperate desire to hide the fact that she’s a pageant queen that I can’t help but involve myself in. Sure, it’s black mail—she does what I ask and I keep her secret—but I really think I can help her loosen up. After all, that’s my speciality.
Until things aren’t as simple anymore and suddenly, my feelings are deeper than I like. I come from a man who leaves, so why do I think I’d be different with Bianca? It’s better for me to stay away than for me to break her. And the last thing I want to do is break her.

Book Review:

***Spoilers. Possibly. Will be some throughout this review***

I was waiting for this book to come out to read this book. Because I was so curious when I was reading Jaxson and Lottie’s book when Chris popped up at the event, that Penny and her daughter Katie was at. I mean Penny panic and ran away so fast that it would’ve had you curious as to why she ran and what for.

I was glad I got the chance to read this book; to learn if she would’ve fixed things with her ex-boyfriend. Especially let him be around his daughter and get to know her. Not only that I was glad he stayed long enough to try to fix things with Penny. But what suck was how Penny kept the secret from Chris about who Katie real father was. He even figured out that Tag (their best friend) and Penny was lying about who Katie father was. Because for one, Tag couldn’t have any children.

But not only that, when Chris did find out about it, I think it was wrong of him to run away from the truth. Though, I did understand why he ran from the truth because he was upset. But it took both him and Penny to figure out that they needed to talk and figure things out for the better. Especially since they both wanted to be with each other and feelings were still there.

In the end, they ended up meeting at the airport trying to get to each other, which was good for all three of them because a child will always need their father.

Book Review:

Pretty good read; had me not wanting to stop reading!

***Spoilers; splash here and there***

This book was really good. I figure her best friend, Caroline, was trash and didn’t care about Beth. Even Parker didn’t like Caroline; he probably thought that something wasn’t right with her. He also didn’t like Jared for personal reasons, but he knew that Jared was trash.

I was glad when Beth figured out that both Caroline and Jared weren’t good people in her life. I mean Jared even showed proof of that after the accident that Beth was in…. he came to the hospital to talk smack to Parker, and stated how he was going to get Beth back. Like boy no, your garbage. I was like Beth woke up and heard everything that was said. And dismissed Jared from her life for good.

She even dismissed Caroline when Caroline blew her phone up with text messages. Beth figured things out when it came to Parker and his feelings and her own feelings. At first, she pushes him away, but after talking to her sister & then the accident where he saved her, she knew that Parker was meant for her. He may have been a “Stand-In” boyfriend, as everyone stated, but he was a perfect boyfriend for her.

The Holiday Boyfriend: A Second Chance Christmas Romance (Boyfriend #4) by Christina Benjamin

At first I am like ehhh. 20 some chapters. I am glad that so far it’s good. I just hope by chapter 15, I don’t end up tired of reading like I normally do with certain books that good!!!

Book Review:

Holiday Boyfriend

Spoiler.. thrown here and there.

Wow, I didn’t know that this book was going to end like that. Wow! I was confused!

But I can say this; this book wasn’t a disappointment. It was a good read. I liked the story!

I thought it was cute, but also believed that Emma was kind of mean towards Will didn’t give him enough credit, when it came to his feelings and when it came to Liz. She was always quick to assume things instead of thinking things through and asking questions.

I was glad she realizes her feelings for Will instead of running away from him always. She knows that he didn’t fool around or lost his V-Card to Liz when she heard Will blast, Liz, out at the rooftop Christmas party. I was glad she heard it because it shows her who Will truly was and that he didn’t change.

Also, she knew she was wrong to run away from issues, especially when it came to her father and standing Will up at the dance.

I was also glad she had a talk with her father and realize he actually still loved her and wanted her around. Even her mother knew everything, and Emma assumes her mother was still hurting. But the talk with her father made her understand a lot of things and even got her to like Tara, which turn out to be good. She got a brother out of the deal, which she learned to love and become close too not only that she had another brother on the way.

A lot of things she had to thank Will for because he helped her through a lot when it came to her family and even Will. & she also helps Will have a good family Christmas and even Colin; her step-brother ended up with the best Christmas ever.

My High School Fake Boyfriend (The Boyfriend Series, #2) by Kylie Key

This book is actually pretty good. First time I ever read a book. Where the guy didn’t know everything was FAKE!

Book Review:

Spoilers.. thrown here and there in this review…
I read this book in like one day. Though I finish it at 1 am close to 2 am… this book I liked it. It was different, especially when it came to Peyton, not knowing about being a FAKE date for Mattie.

I felt bad for him; only reason he found out was because of Josh. Though I think Josh hated on him. & wanted to make him feel bad about himself and have him thinking Mattie didn’t like him. She only wanted to use him to make “Josh” jealous.

When that is the TRUTH of it all, but Mattie ended up falling in like with Peyton at the homecoming dance. She didn’t care about Josh. After that, it was more so about Peyton. Even when she got her phone taken away from her, she was trying to find him. But what ends up happening was Peyton finding out the truth from her best friend, Bella.

I understood why Bella told Peyton; I would’ve too. I did felt bad for him. I also thought, 9/10, he probably was a handsome boy even though he had the “port-wine birthmark” from birth. People can be harsh and mean. I understood how he was kind of hesitant about certain things that were happening.

I also know her dad was going to like him since Peyton, a Bears fan..🤣 & her (Mattie) mom and brothers going to like him too. I wanted to see if and when he meet her parents and brothers, but that never happened in the book. But it was interesting to learn who Katrina was 🤷🏽‍♀️… and I see why his uncle Luke knew things that were going on in school since Katrina was Mattie volleyball coach. & wind up -dating Peyton Uncle Luke…. very interesting and Peyton learning who Katrina was, was priceless.

But one thing I can say I was freaking died laughing at the part about the burnt pizza that her brothers tried to make… that was the funniest part of the book. I cracked up so hard at that. & Mattie said she tried to laugh at what happened, but tbh I would’ve died laughing. Even though my mom would’ve been fussing and me ending up grounded. But Mattie holds her laughter, though!!!

Btw: I can’t wait to read the first book to this series I think it’s a Christmas book. I can’t remember 🤣🤷🏽‍♀️… but not only that, I can’t wait for the next two books to come out about Bella – “My High School Billionaire Boyfriend” and Tanchia, “My High School Quarterback Boyfriend”… I’m going to be on the lookout for those books.

Dating: For the Block: Eastridge Heights Basketball Players (Book 3) by Stephanie Street

Just started reading 📖 this book yesterday. I think I figure out what the title of this book means now.

Book Review:

Spoilers… hmm.. 🤔 there’s a lot!
So okay! It took me a while to get back to this series. Not even sure why I never finish this series. I’ll say I am glad I got around to reading this book.

I was like, ehh! Mm. I wonder how this one is going to be. Not once was I disappointed. I will say this Mia did judge Grayson by what she heard in the bathroom. Not only that, it made him look bad because she caught him kissing the girl (lord knows I can’t remember her name🤣 starts with a K, I think 🤔) but anyway she’s not essential.

Another thing was how Mia acted like her mom didn’t care about her, and she became a little bitter. When I was like uhh girl, you had a choice to move with your mom to Alaska. She didn’t even abandon her daughter for one. She only up and decided to move based on her husband, Mark, job. That what Mia didn’t understand. Especially when they are used to living in a certain area!!!

I was glad when Mia came around and talked to her mom about it. Not only that, but both Mia and Grayson was also mean for lying to their parents about them dating so that they could break up something that good (their parents dating; each other).

It only took them later on to realize what a mistake they made, especially Grayson though Mia felt like her father will abandon her too like she assumes her mom did.

But at least everyone came around and worked things out. Grayson’s mom Michelle with talking to him again. To her dating Dennis and getting married. & not only that, Grayson and Mia are getting together finally after all the judgment she put that poor boy through at least it works out in the end.

She (Mia) also got a little brother out of the deal. Her mom and her husband welcome a little boy. & for Grayson to finally talk to his (REAL) father, which I was glad too, though I felt his hesitation about seeing and meeting his dad since his father was always not there in his life and was dead beat. Funny how his father wanted to talk to him when he decided to get married, that was interesting.

Plus, at least Grayson got a (STEP-father) figure in his life always that was his basketball coach. Who fell in love with his mom!!! Though his girlfriend became his sister, which was hilarious, especially when she kept bringing it up at the end!!

Book Review:

Pretty good read, can’t lie. Maybe the trade was good for him, yeah?? I mean, the book title clearly says it “The Trade.”

****Spoilers? Hmm, 🤔 there’s a possibility of a few being splash 💦 here and there in this review📖*****

Okay, so I had this book on my TBR list to read I’m glad I got to read it. Also, it’s another book I think it was “The Line Up” since I saw it floating around last year!

But anyway, I liked this book. The sad thing was all that crap Cory was going through I felt so bad for him. Especially when he got sick and on top of all the crap the media and the Rebel fans put him through!

I didn’t blame him on the break up with him and Natalie. Since he wanted a BREAK, whereas she told him they might as well BREAK UP for Good! She did that because she was upset, which I understood because he asked her for a break!

Though, he told her to stay in the hotel room. I mean, she didn’t listen. & all that crap that happened made him snap and said things that he didn’t mean. It took them seven months to get back together. Which I think was well needed, because it’s a lot of things that Cory needed to work out with himself.

I think Natalie didn’t understand, even when he came to her and ask for forgiveness at her brother Jason’s fundraiser. She pretended like she didn’t understand or didn’t hear him. But she did since she responded to him. & ended up getting him upset and walking away again. Only for her dumb self realize what JUST happened once he walked away when the guy Nicholas walked up to them.

I kind of thought Natalie didn’t understand what Cory went through; he was losing hair and everything. It took him to faint in the locker room to text her brother with worry about what was going on with Cory. For her to come around, which I was glad for. Since I could tell, she cared about him though she was in denial.

Though; that’s what I thought he was doing holding his feelings in when he saw her at the dugout. But I was glad in the end that they worked things out, and he finally got those horrible fans to approve by stating.

“They can take the bat I just used to hit this team to victory and shove it right up their asses.”

It took him to say that and putting up his middle fingers to get approval all smh 🤦🏽‍♀️ though some still can be mean to him.

Also, I cracked up when he learned the reason behind the name boss. They told him a different story; up until they told him about getting Natalie back. The whole time it was about how BIG he was packing.

Besides that, I can’t wait to read Jason and Dottie’s story because lord, he had me cracking up because he’s ridiculous. & the crazy thing is that was the first book I put on my TBR list for this series that I wanted to READ but forgot!!!!

The Enemy Hypothesis (Brazos High Romance #2) by Amy Sparling

I have actually been waiting for this book to come out. Glad I got a chance to read it. But what I am glad for, is that this book isn’t BORING. Like the last book that I just finished today. That had my brain 🧠 popping and flatline. I am almost finished with “The Enemy Hypothesis by @writeamysparling … Currently reading 📖…. “The Square Root of Falling”… – after reading a couple chapters I understand the title of the book! #competition ! Bleh…

Book Review:

Xx, this book was pretty awesome, short but good!!!!!

Spoilers… not really. But maybe a few**

Okay, so I’ve been waiting on this book to come out. I forgot who Abby was since the author. Took a while to put this book out., I forgot how book one went lmao.

But with book two, I wasn’t disappointed at all. Especially when coming from a book that was so boring made my head hurt.

With this book, I thought Abby was mean to Mark. Though I understood why she acted the way she acted. She wasn’t sure if he was playing a joke on her when he kept asking her out. They both were competing against each other. In the competition. So that’s understandable. But you could tell that Mark didn’t want to win anymore, he wanted Abby to win more than he did.

He showed proof when he won when he told the people that he wanted to give his win to Abby. Before Abby learned what he did, I mean she was BIG MAD I doubt she would’ve congratulated him if he didn’t decide on Abby needed the win more than him. Clearly, she hated him for that win, but they worked things out once she realizes he wasn’t a jerk. And picked the Red Jeep that Abby wanted so that he could give it to her.

I thought it was cute of him to do that for him. Especially since he liked her and vise versa.

Besides, I can’t wait until the next book comes out. I am going to be looking out for “The Theory of the Boy Next Door,”.. especially learning who the girl and boy might be. I can’t even put my finger on who it might be at all.
