Off Limits: The Best Friend by Kat Bellemore

Second, to the fourth book, I’m reading… so far it’s good…

Book Review:

I see the meaning behind the title but the book was a good-ok read!!

Spoilers….here and there

I kind of started with book two, now I wish I started with book one first. But oh well, not going back to read a series over just because I wanna see what happened again. But at least I’ll get the chance to read book 5 soon enough!

So with that being said. When I first started this book, it started slow. It was kind of boring so.. it took me a while to finish it. Which lead me to read other books too.

But I was glad I finally got a chance to read this book. To learn who Alexis and Charlie were. Since they popped up in the book with Gracie and Markus.

With this book; I felt kind of bad for Alexis in many ways to those girls Cynthia and Jackie being mean to her. To Charlie dissing her, for Cynthia. I mean I understood why he was mad. But he still shouldn’t have thrown Cyrhnia in her face like that when she and Jackie were evil villains towards Alexis. Rob wasn’t mean like those girls were. He just had a feeling that Charlie had a thing for Alex. Even though Alex didn’t see it until after they kissed and stopped talking for a while.

I know one thing it took them long enough to get together. Because I was like dang… they dragging this along too much when they could talk to each other and work out there a friendship with each other. Even though friendship with each other wouldn’t have worked anymore because they both wanted to be with each other. But those use other people for a distraction…

The only thing going right is the fact that her lifelong—and only—friend, Charlie, has stuck by her side through it all. Until Alex realizes she likes him more than a friend, and she manages to mess that up too.

Perfectly Summer (Perfect #3) by Robin Daniels

I actually liked the other three books to this series. I’m still stuck on book three. I’ve already read book four. I’m hoping that I’m able to finish this soon enough.

Book Review:

***Spoilers here and there***

I’m a say this I actually liked books one and two. But book three it kind of started off slow and I had to read a least four other books before going back to this book and finishing it.

After reading the last book once I stop reading this one. This book got good once I return to it again. Often times it is like that for me.

I wanted to read and finish this book because I wanted to know how Levi and Summer got together. Because I’ve heard about Summer in the book with her friend Andy and the girl Ivy.

One thing I can’t understand how in the world she ended up kissing not ONE brother but all THREE brothers. I was like a dang girl. But she was definitely naive because I couldn’t understand how in the world. She couldn’t see how Levi liked her and everybody else saw that he liked her. Even her friends Andy etc knew that he had feelings for her.

It took her to talk to Andy for her to figure out and for Levi to actually tell her again about how he felt about her. Which was just crazy like it was so many signs about how he liked her. Even when I was reading Jordan book which is the fourth book. Now I understood what she meant about Summer being a little naive.

Book Description:

Summer vacation is Levi London’s favorite time of the year. Each summer, he and his brothers are shipped off to Florida to stay with their grandparents. For ten weeks everything is perfect. He has freedom, fun, and Summer West—the cute and spunky girl across the street—for whom he’s planned to confess his giant crush.

Right before the London boys are scheduled to leave, a scandalous family situation causes their mom to accompany them on vacation. Not only does Levi’s fun quotient promise to take a nose dive, but all the drama has him feeling less than his normal happy self.

Summer decides that Levi needs a distraction, in the form of a prank war. But he gets more than he bargains for when his older brother Lucas is both better at pranking and determined to date Summer too. Levi is a peacekeeper, but he isn’t sure he can mediate his family’s struggles or strike the right balance between mischief and romance. Especially when Lucas keeps reminding him that all is fair in love and war.

*** This book may contain negative triggers for people with a family history of infidelity.***

Content Description: This is a stand-alone YA contemporary romance with companion novels set at the same high school. It contains minor language, innuendo, crude humor, and kissing. This book has no sex, written or implied, between any of the teenage characters and has no explicit language. However, the family conflict revolves around adultery between the parents. While it is not highly descriptive, sex is discussed multiple times with regard to adult relationships. Recommended for ages 14 and up.

Curvy Girls Can’t Date Billionaires (The Curvy Girl Club Book 2) by Kelsie Stelting

This one book, I was definitely curious about while reading book 1.

Book Review:

Spoilers. Thrown here and there throughout this review.

Before I get started on my review. I wanted to point out that people who play violin 🎻 I always thought; it was interesting especially the way they play it and certain music they play especially when ones that do the fiddle. When it comes to violin music, I lean more toward fiddle music than classical music because I get bored 😐 fast.

So anyways with that being said, I thought that Kai was right for Jordan. Because he didn’t push her away he kept coming back no matter what. Even when his dad was a horrible person to Jordan and her mom. Lord knows I wanted to knee him in the 🤭… I was waiting on Kai to put his dad in his place where he belongs.

Because the nerve of him to judge a woman and her child for something that his ex-maid/son mom did to him. Everyone is not the same. Then go and ruin that girl’s mom’s reputation like that then to go and asked Jordan, mom, did she want her job back. I was like she better NOT take that job back. That man is just horrible. I always say that people who are that mean and say rude things aren’t good people. They are the ones who miserable. Never see good in things. That what I felt like his dad was because he didn’t see good in Jordan or her mom. Not even when it came to his son and what he wanted. That’s why I was so happy when Kai told his dad like it was.

I’m like that that Jonathan or whatever his name was I don’t care to remember 😂 but not only that I wanted to point out that Merritt was just as horrible and jealous “again” when it came to one of the girls. I’m like first it was Rory and now Jordan. If she comes for Ginger and Ray… I have some to say if DON’T like it.

But at least, in the end, Jordan’s mom forgave her because that did suck that her mom didn’t want to talk to her. But her friends she kinda pushes them away herself when she was upset. But at least, in the end, she had Ginger to back her up on getting her mom a job with YouTubing and her other friends “Rory, Callie and Zara” forgave her because it wouldn’t be a “Curvy Girl Club” without all four of them!!!!

Besides that I am now curious about Ginger’s book and the cowboy what’s it name Roy no thinking 🤔 … no “Ray Sadler” that’s his name.

Not only that I’m waiting on Zara’s book next but I’m thinking Callie probably be next. But not likely because it’s Callie then you have Carson so that one have to wait more likely. Because it’ll be the end of the series with the one we REALLY waiting on. But I’ll see… BUT I’m definitely waiting on Zara.

Perfectly Misunderstood (Perfect #4) by Robin Daniels

Currently reading 📖 As I was reading this book. I was like this this book, is kind of boring. But once I got pass the student council stuff. It became good. So more likely ill be finish with this book by tomorrow….

Book Review:

⭐️Spoilers… here and there..⭐️

Before I even start on my review. Let me just crack up at this here:

⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

“Bianca picked her gum off the table and threw it at me. I ducked in time for it to sail past, hitting a kid one table over. He snapped his head up, looking for the offender, and Bianca hid behind Becca. They giggled, and everyone started making fun of Bianca for her bad shot.”

After I read that I just ROTFL 😂 LIKE really? Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️ that was a good one.

So with that being said. I understood why Mike did what he did to fit in instead of getting bullied. I understood him when he put Jayden in her place for saying that Bianca was a bully for saying things about Mike being stupid. When she does the exact same thing.

But she learned to love him and his odds ways of talking 😂 especially when she found out that he didn’t actually talk that way. But Bianca has me done for more when it came to Mike actually talking like he had some sense in his head. He definitely put both in there place.

To me, it was ONLY Becca, Brady, and Beth (all B’s) who knew that Mike was actually smart. Also not only that I like how Mike told her dad off to where her father needed to hear it because of how he treated Jayden even her mom had words with him. After that, her father toned it down and actually had a talk with her.

Not only that I was glad when Jayden and Mike finally got together because lord knows it took them long enough to stop pretending that they didn’t like each other especially Jayden. Because everybody knew that they liked or assumed they were dating each other.

Book Description:

This dual perspective book is the final installment in The Perfect Series.

Jayden Valdez is an overachieving intellectual. Mike McGinnes is Franklin High School’s dumbest jock. Even though they barely know each other, she finds his personality repulsive and he thinks she’s got a giant stick up her you know what.

Mike and Jayden are surprised and annoyed when their teacher pairs them together for Spanish tutoring. Both feel it’s a complete waste of time, since nobody could learn from a person who bugs the crap out of them. Not to mention that their reputations might be ruined if people realize what they’re doing.

But it doesn’t take long for Jayden to discover that Mike has a secret—he isn’t the person he appears to be. Much to her dismay, Jayden finds ‘Secret Mike’ strangely attractive. And for some crazy reason, Mike is amused by Jayden’s clever insults and witty banter. Suddenly, they have a much bigger problem than their mutual disdain. What started as irritating tension is beginning to feel more like romantic tension and acting on it would be a very bad idea.

Content Description: This is a stand-alone YA contemporary romance with companion novels. While part of a series, each book can be enjoyed independently. It contains minor language, innuendo, crude humor, kissing, and conversations that mention sex. There are no sexual relationships, written or implied, and there’s no explicit language. Recommended for ages 14 and up.

Perfectly You (Perfect #2) by Robin Daniels

As I was reading this book. I was like this this book, is kind of boring. But once I got pass the student council stuff. It became good. So more likely ill be finish with this book by tomorrow….

Book Review:

Perfectly you… good read…

**Spoilers. Possibly a few***

Sooo I can understand in some ways why Andy was mad at Ivy for what she did by trying to change him. Because it can make the person you trying to change mad especially when you are dating that said… person or best friends with that person.

I was glad that Lily told Ivy about herself when it came to Andrew. Plus, I was sort of irritated that Andrew disses Ivy like that at Sophia’s party. Then didn’t call or anything. Especially when it came to the auction for the school. Then finding out that he wasn’t mad anymore but it was some of Sophia doing.

If you realize something … when Sophia came towards Ivy in the backstage or wherever she was at and said what she said. That is what she had planned. In the end; I was glad that Andy came to Ivy to fix his relationship because I was irritated by him. Because you could tell that he hurt her not once but twice.

But should’ve known Sophia was dirty. Even Rob was no good. I would’ve love to see what Jake had to say to his sister though. I know that would’ve been good too. Plus; I know Rob probably. Noo, I know he felt some type of way when Sophia bet at that auction for Andy. More likely he probably was jealous of Andy anyways. Plus; Sophia didn’t want Andy to me I think she only did that because of Ivy.

I liked Jake and Lily together especially with they both pretending that they didn’t like each other but did. But what was priceless was every time Jake made his sister mad; and Lily slapping her was once of the best parts in this book. Because I could tell Sophia deserves it. Especially with the crap, she said about Lily…

To top it off, she’s done her marketing so well, that other girls are starting to notice Andy too. Come auction time, will Ivy be able to let him go to the highest bidder? Or will she find a way to keep him for herself…

Content Description: This is a stand-alone YA contemporary romance with companion novels set at the same high school. It contains minor language, innuendo, and crude humor, some steamy kissing, a party scene where underage drinking is taking place, and a brief but tasteful conversation about sex. The author has attempted to write characters who make good choices in questionable situations, in effort to keep the content appropriate for teens. This book contains no sex, written or implied, and no explicit language. Recommended for ages 14 and up.

Off Limits: The Scrooge (Off-Limits #3) by Kat Bellemore

Currently reading📕….. .

Book Review:

Good read…..

***Spoilers. Thrown here and there***

This is the third book to this series. Glad I got around to reading. I think that it’s good. I’ve read books 2, 4, and now 3 so far in this series. I do have to read book 1. I’ll read that soon enough!

So with that being said… I just didn’t understand what Cameron had against rich people especially Amanda when he didn’t know what happened or what she been through when she lost her dad. Her mom had to be the one to go to work to make sure Amanda was good even though they both were grieving for the loss of her dad and her mom’s husband.

I liked the fact that Cameron’s mom understood that and not only that Cameron’s dad explains to Cam the reason behind his statement he made. About the guy who laid him off or whatever. & not Amanda’s mom. He should’ve known that Amanda and her mom weren’t bad people. I was glad he realizes that about her and figured it out and apologize to Amanda.

Not only that Amanda understanding the way that Cameron felt. But you could tell Cam did things that got himself in trouble because of what he didn’t have. But learning that the prank wasn’t for the drama team but actually for Blair’s brother was good to know.

He’s a star swimmer. She’s in the drama club. One prank will upend everything.

Suspended from the swim team, he thinks it can’t get worse…until he’s cast as young Scrooge in the school play. If he refuses? He’ll be kicked off the team permanently.

No matter what Amanda Barrett auditions for, she never makes the cut. Just once she’d like someone to notice her. But when she finally lands a role in The Christmas Carol as Belle, Scrooge’s ex-fiancée, she doesn’t even have time to celebrate before she realizes her character’s love interest is the obnoxiously arrogant and rude (though, admittedly hot) captain of the swim team.

As their Christmas performance draws near, Amanda and Cameron will need to put aside their differences and figure out—before it’s too late—they are meant to be much more than rivals.

Off Limits: The Smarty-Pants (Off-Limits #2) by Kat Bellemore

Finally gotten around to reading this book. I’m trying to at least finish this book.

Book Review:

Good

Spoilers….just a few.

I finally got around to reading the second book to this series. I know I read like the fourth book. I believe in this series. I know I am kind of out of order when it comes to this series. But regardless of out of order, I am, I still think that this book is good.

Not only that I felt that Gracie and Mark were right for each other. Never thought that Mark was a nerd… I thought he was a different type. But felt that he was different and right for Gracie and she to him. Plus; I felt that he definitely needed to talk to his dad. About what he wanted out of life. Not only that, but it also helped so much when it came to telling his father. He finally knew what is dad felt and why his mom and dad broke up.

Plus I see that he went to MIT. I kind of forgot he was in college. Because book four wasn’t based on him and Gracie but on there other friend Sandra and the principal son Blair…

53002289. sx318 sy475

Book Description:

She’s a free spirit. He’s bound by the rules. A school trip is going to change everything.

Gracie Porter was born an artist. She has thirty lava lamps and several murals (aka her bedroom walls) to prove it. But then her mom goes back to work and Gracie suddenly finds herself taking care of her six younger siblings, with no time for herself. When Gracie is offered a spot on a weeklong school trip, she jumps at the chance to get out of the house. She didn’t count on the cute, but dorky, Markus Brown being there as well.

Markus Brown is too smart for his own good. At least, that’s how everyone else sees him. In reality, he’s living the life his father paved for him. He couldn’t care less about college or grades. When Markus ends up on the same school trip as Gracie, his secret crush, he finally feels like he has permission to be himself, and to go after the girl of his dreams. But he’s been entrenched in his father’s thinking far too long, and there are some old habits that won’t die without a fight.

Gracie and Markus have one week to open their hearts, learn to trust each other, and realize that life is better when they don’t try to do it alone.

My High School Rebel Boyfriend: A Sweet YA Enemies to Lovers Romance (Boyfriend Series (River Valley High) Book 4) by Kylie Key

So far I’m liking this book. Lately I’ve been reading some boring books. I’ve been taking forever to finish them. This the second book so far that has kept my interest. Then I’ll be back to finishing off the other boring book I started bleh.

Book Review:

Good read

Spoilers, thrown out throughout this review…

I was curious about this book about how it was going to be. It was good. Was it different yes; I felt like Mitch and Harper were made for each other because they both were dealing with something that was in their life. Harper with her diabetes and Mitch with his stepfather abuse and his mother’s arthritis.

The only problem with this book I had was the repeat of Harper’s diabetes and what she had to do to keep herself good. I was like that was too much (not about diabetes) but the repeats of it. I’m not wording it right, but I felt I understood her situation and felt like the food intake, etc didn’t need a repeat in every chapter.

What I did felt bad about what Mitch and his friends did with her foods. They didn’t save any for her. I felt like you don’t go in someone’s bag. When you don’t know if there’s a reason why that person may have things in their bag. Dude to their health. I was waiting on Mitch to get a clue on how he been treating her. After her diabetes scare.., he got himself together and realize that he shouldn’t be mean to her.

I felt like he always carried out an attitude towards people, because of what went on at home. I was glad that he had Harper in his life. Because I felt like MAYBE his stepdad would get a clue; I just wish that Harper could’ve told her parents at least about Mitch and his abuse…

But she wanted to keep his secret and see if his stepfather Wade would change. Also, I think with the training, his mom probably would move around more. Harper to me brought LIGHT into Mitch family because no one seems happy until Harper popped up.

Don’t Kiss the Class Clown (Billionaire Academy YA Romance Book 4) by Sally Henson

My current read right now. I’m hoping that I’m able to finish this book. Because my mindset not there fully with half the books I been reading feeling dry. So far this one not boring. Hope I be able to finish it soon.

Book Review:

Spoilers. Not likely but it’ll probably be a few splashes throughout!!!

I’m going to say this ….. hmm this book was okay. I wasn’t really into it. Took me a while to finish it because I stop and read another book which was boring than on top of that read any other good book. Then went back to this one. It was good, but after a while, I got bored with it and was over reading it.

I just glad that Ally came to her senses but that was after the second accident she had when it came to gymnastics. I was glad she also apologize to Ryan because she was mean to him. When he was nice to her and was trying to help her.

But it had to take her “Ally” to learn from her mistakes especially when she overdid herself when it came to gymnastics.

53576774. sy475

Book Description:

Though I‘ve mastered the art of focus, there’s one distraction I can’t ignore: Ryan Jacobs.

He cracks jokes…
Constantly chatters in class…
And, wears a smile that says he’s up to no good.

His carefree view of the world annoys me just as much as his bent for being the center of attention.

But he does have the most mesmerizingly perfect lips…

And when I need help after a sprained ankle, he says he’s my guy.

I didn’t mean to lead him on…
I didn’t mean to fall for him…
I certainly didn’t mean to kiss the class clown…

But maybe it’s too late for my heart to forget that magical moment.

Maybe I’ve already fallen in love. If so … I’m in big trouble.

Perfectly Oblivious (Perfect #1) by Robin Daniels

Another book that I am reading. I’m actually reading about four but I’m hoping to finish this one first and go back to the other three…

Book Review:

Definitely was the right title for this book

Spoilers? Just a few.

Okay!

I was curious about this book for a while and I also plan on reading the other books to this series.

I can say that Bianca was kind of annoying when it came to Cameron because I mean jheeze. I understood why he was hesitant about telling her because of how she reacts when he says something about himself. When it comes to him liking her. She says things so that her feelings hurt. But some have to give she could’ve said. REALLY? To him; to see if he liked her. But she laughs it off; then go home to Beth or be to herself thinking about what Cam says, often talk to Beth about it. Even when Beth tells her she still is in denial with her feelings and Cam feelings.

It took her until the end of the book to understand that she couldn’t keep running even when he finally confessed to her about his feelings. She still ran. But at least in the end they finally got together and Beth and Brady ended up together which I liked…

If that’s the case, declaring his love would be disastrous for their friendship.

Bianca Barnes (Bebe) has a huge problem: the universe hates her. Every time she admits feelings for a boy, he ends up falling for her sweet, popular, and beautiful sister Beth. To avoid a broken heart, Bebe has sworn herself to secrecy. Nobody can know how she feels about Cam…Ever!

Neither person wants to confess their feelings, but the universe has its own plan. Out of the blue, Bebe is courted by a secret admirer. Cam has to step up his game and Bebe has to make a choice. Play it safe and accept the affections of her mystery man or challenge fate and take a chance on the boy she loves.

Content Description: This is a stand-alone YA contemporary romance with companion novels to follow. It contains minor language, innuendo, crude humor and steamy tension but is generally very clean. No sex. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
