Book Review:

***Candy Cane had something to do with her stocking “Christmas stocking” …. which was Lucas nickname for her… 🙌🏽

I’m not going to say too much, but this story was cute. I don’t get the Christmas stories. I guess it always has to be one every Christmas when it comes to series. Which sucks. But in the end, this book was still good and interesting enough!

•••***** JUST GOING TO ADD SPOILERS HERE AND THERE******•••

So, Lucas and Lola are two complete opposites. But they both made one another happy. She even him out as well as he did for her. You always need that one person in your life who change you for the better. That was Lucas for Lola and Lola for Lucas. See Eleanor didn’t do that for Lucas, same as he didn’t do it for her. He didn’t care for Eleanor as he did for Lola… he showed feeling for Lola: Even Eleanor and her friend Blake seem to understand and see that his feeling for both girls was different. Lola, I am kind of like her minus the clothing that she wears. She’s a loner and doesn’t care what others think and what they think about her. She has her own mind and do what she wants and sees fit. She was dressing the way she wants and didn’t care that Blake or even Lucas like her style. Up until he learns to LOVE her, her weirdness, and her style. Even Eleanor and Blake began to like her and her style. More so that had something to do with Lucas. Especially when it came to swing dancing… I can’t see myself doing that dance, but it does seem like something fun to do. Especially if you someone that’s a loner., you can go out and meet those who are into the same thing as you. That is what Lola did; even though she had Lucas and his friends with her. I like in the end he finally admitted to her (Lola) that he liked (no LOVE) her and actually wanted to kiss her (not because Eleanor was just there)… and they ended up making the dance into her retro vintage style (as everyone call it “old lady clothing”) …. they ended up accepting her and her style. Which was cool!

Book Description:

Fake kisses shouldn’t taste so sweet.

When the new star quarterback at Briarwood High winds up in the hospital over Christmas break, he’s sure that’s as bad as it can get.
He’s wrong. His day is about to get so much worse. First, he’s stuck with that irritating new girl from school who’s currently dressed as a holly jolly Christmas elf as she volunteers on his floor. Then his ex shows up and asks his permission to bring her new boyfriend to his family’s Christmas party, and then…well, then he makes it all a million times worse by kissing the closest girl at hand, who just happens to be that weirdo candy striper with a penchant for Grandma cardigans and candy-cane striped tights. She also happens to be the only girl at Briarwood who doesn’t like him. He couldn’t have chosen a worse fake girlfriend if he’d tried. So the question is…if this relationship is all wrong, why does it feel so right?

Lola is a self-proclaimed freak and a military brat just waiting to graduate so she can take the first bus out of Briarwood. She’s also more than a little obsessed with all things retro. Including swing dancing. The only problem? Swing dancing requires a partner. Where on earth is she supposed to find a willing dance partner in the sea of conformist mediocrity that is her new high school? Fortunately for her, the arrogant jerk in the hospital bed needs her more than she needs him if he stands any chance of winning back his ex. So yeah, she’ll help him. For a price. But the closer they get, the more she hates the idea of handing him over to his perfect ex, and the more she has to wonder. Will she be the one paying the price…with a broken heart?

Book Review:

Yup, I liked this book it was cute and interesting. I am just going to add well no; I am just going to rate this book a 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ star.

•••• There’s a possibility of spoilers in my review•••****

So let me get into why I rate it a 4 star instead of a 5 star. I am going to say because it was 100% great; but a good book. I did like Juliette and Conner story I thought they both were made for one another. Not only that they completed each other; even though they were complete opposites.

Opposites do attract, and I do believe with this series there were plenty of those. They both made each other happy, even Conner sister Gina was delighted that he had Juliette in his life. Without her, I believe that Conner would’ve still held on to his fears especially with getting close to others. Thinking that his mother will move to another state in the USA. & not only that his father had an effect on his worries about people up and leaving him. There’s a lot of understanding when it comes to both Jules and Conner situations.

Book Description:

What can Briarwood’s resident bad boy teach little miss perfect? A lot, actually, since he’s her hot new tutor.

Beloved by her classmates at Briarwood High and newly minted captain of the girls’ basketball team, Juliette’s life is perfect. Except for the fact that she’s one bad grade away from failing. A tutor might help, but that would mean exposing her deep dark secret–she’s not perfect. Far from it. But if word gets out, her team will lose their fearless leader and she’ll lose her stainless reputation. Luckily there’s one name on the list of tutors who has nothing to do with her friends…or anyone else in the school, for that matter. Connor may not have friends, but it turns out there’s a lot he can teach her. And not all of it is on her syllabus. Like how amazing a first kiss can be and how hard and fast two people can fall in love, even when they both know that this secret relationship is all sorts of wrong.

The Briarwood High novels are completely standalone romances that can be read in any order.

Book Review:

It was a very disappointing feeling when I realize that George and Laurie got together 😂😂 I was so for Meghan because I assume she wanted George!!!! Maybe, she still does, who knows.

•*** Spoilers; throughout this review••***

Okay, this is so weird! Amazon has this book set as “Second Chance” whereas on Goodreads it set as “High School Dropout”… & both have different cover photos which are weird too.
With that being said….. I was glad George was there to pick up Laurie because that person was waiting for her to leave that shelter… especially when it was waiting for Laurie to walk past. Then also be at her house too, 9 out of 10 it could be that art teacher she has that weird feeling about. I understand those feelings because I get different vibes from people you can’t trust…
Also, it sucks what everyone is doing, or how they are treating Laurie at school! Like they don’t know what she was going to in the hands of her uncle I was made at her in book 1 with Matt, Kristen (ex, George) because they both set Kristen up to die… but if it wasn’t for Laurie in both scenarios (her being set up) and (Laurie saving her (Kristen) …. Kristen wouldn’t have been in that situation, to begin with, but in the end, Laurie went to save her along with Matt…. but ONLY Kristen and Matt sees what she did, which sucks but I think she’ll come out stronger in the end. You’ll know who your friends are once something goes bad for you…..
As I am getting further into this book; there’s so much that both George and Laurie relate to each other. When they were in that cabin; it sucks how his brother died. I feel sorry for George because you can tell he was going through so much! When his brother committed suicide over what his dad kept demanding of him… this happens in real life with parents demanding kids to get perfect grades… you can’t do that to kids it’s can be hard on them… I will never demand my kid to get perfect grades. It’s best to tell them to do their best (you can only do the best that you can)!!!
I was glad in this story I have gotten to understand George more and why he did the things that he did… I don’t think he was able to talk to others and he did with Laurie… they both need each other in this scenario.

In the end, I am glad Rose realize Jack wasn’t the one for her and Jack got what he deserved when he did that to Laurie. Knowing darn well she didn’t want him. Glad that George, came to her rescue to have her back. If it wasn’t for Kristen, I don’t think no one would be friends with her. But now she has Kristen, Rose, Michelle, Jules, George, and Matt. That’s all she needs. I currently don’t even like Meghan, but I still want to know what her issue was.
I am glad that they well Sebastian gotten adopted and found the money; you know one thing about a dog they are very good at finding things. If Laurie adopted Sebastian, I don’t think they would’ve found that money and those evil men would’ve still been after them. Glad in the end everything turns out good for both her and George and Sebastian didn’t die…

Book Review:

This book was better than the first book!
•••••**** There are spoilers inside this review**••••***

” I hope that there will be a story about Meghan and George because, when Meghan gave Kristen to the cold “thanks”… I could tell she doesn’t like Kristen for some reason, even in book one, which was about Kristen, & Matt (ex, George)… I still believe that it has to do with something about George… If so I hope there will be a book about them both, because my nosey self is just curious and want to know what happens, and will Meghan tell Kristen what problem she has with her. I also wouldn’t mind a book about Jules, (w. Brian, Maybe)… & then I am like “Oops, my book dream is a crush, when it comes to Meghan and George since the book, three mentions Laurie and George that are going to get together? oh well!”

But first let me say this, okay, so I was so rooting for Michelle and Danny in the first book with Kristen and Matt “(High School Hero (Forest Ridge High Book 1)”), but seeing well reading how he is towards her, you can tell he wasn’t feeling her the way she was feeling him. Plus, the way he didn’t want to see her and easily moved on so fast once he moved was so disrespectful. I was glad she had Jace to come around to make her happy, Jace was more of a man than Danny would ever be. The way he treated Michelle was dirty. I wanted to smack him sideways…
One thing, I did know, or figure was Jace, was genuinely sick, when Michelle had mentioned him was small, etc. & come to find out he had cancer just as her mother. I do hope that Michelle and her father get along minus her demon sister. But I would like to say this “ I really hate when I read books and the parent always dies or get sick with “CANCER” I hate reading about someone dying of “cancer” in every book. Because I know there so many diseases that are out there such as Leukemia, Diabetes, Heart disease, stroke, etc. that people can die from, even car accidents, etc. so many ways a parent can end up dying. I don’t like cancer, and I don’t like seeing that it’s the ONLY disease that is mention!
But anyways, I am so rooting for Jace and Michele; I am hoping he gives her her five kids, I mean he already has the house need more bedrooms lol! But Meghan acts like Kristen was in the wrong, and nothing was George fault which is annoying! I want to smack her along with Danny! Wish she explains to Kristen why she hates and dislikes her so much. Kristen is nice!

In the end, this book was awesome, Michelle didn’t annoy me as much as her friend Kristen I wanted to slap Kristen half through the book 😂😂😂😂. But what annoyed me about Michelle was she assumed too much when it came to Jace, like the situation with Jules and his sister Jana?! …. & with Danny, she always brushes it off…, it was just weird. Then in the end at that little practice game, glad Forest beat Whiley or whatever that team was Wiley was it? Idc 😂😂😂 Danny was going to try to come for Michelle about her moving on with Jace, in my head I was like boy bye if you don’t get your bean-head on somewhere. He hurt Michelle but wanted to come for her after the game, when he played her once he moved. Glad, she didn’t have any more feelings for him -and he told Jace to take care of her… I kind of don’t want to smack him… nah I’m lying! 😂🤷🏽‍♀️

Book Review:

All I am going to say is this book was WAY better than book 1 and 2.

It’s a possibility that it will have spoilers in my review.••••

So let me point out that I liked this book; and knew I was going to like it because the description of the book caught my eye.

But anyways, I was glad that Tina didn’t care what her friends though when she was hanging with Julian all the time. & that even his friend Alice and her boyfriend Brian (whose popular and a football player A Whole New League (Briarwood High #2)) didn’t care. They didn’t want Tina, to hurt Julian as Leila did him. I wasn’t even made with Tina when she tries to diss Julian with those remarks she made about him and why she didn’t want to be with him. I knew she actually wanted and liked him as much as he liked her.

The funny and weird thing is that Leila and Alex ended up-dating, in reality, they both deserve each other because they both were the same. I was glad that Julian changed (well no) more so he brought the real Tina out. She was hiding behind the real her when it came to her friends and even her FAMILY. Julian made her smile, be happier, feel special, etc, that is something her friends and Alex couldn’t do for her. Even she made Julian happy more than Leila could’ve done for him. I was glad she also apologize to Veronica too for throwing that drank on her at the party (in the story about Veronica and her guy Drew Remi Out of His League” (Briarwood High #1)) over Alex wack self. She was mean to Veronica in the first book to this series; I couldn’t stand her in book 1, I do believe that she was evil to Alice too in book Two I forgot…. but glad that she became a nice person all because of Julian…

Book Description:

When a mean girl kisses a nice guy, someone is going to get hurt. Or fall in love. Or…maybe both.

Tina Withers doesn’t do nice. When she kisses Julian-the-emo-songwriter-freak to make his cheating ex-girlfriend jealous it’s absolutely not out of the kindness of her heart. She’s only evening the score since he’d not only let her cry on his shoulder after her latest breakup with her jerk of an ex, but he’d kept the whole humiliating incident a secret. Her frenemies would have leaped at the chance to take her down a notch by spilling the gory details of her stockroom meltdown.

So yeah, she owed him one. Besides, a good guy like Julian deserves better than his manipulative, selfish ex. And no matter how hot his kisses might be, he deserves better than her, too. She’s spent a lifetime creating her reputation as the biggest baddie at school, and her crowning glory is in sight as she prepares to claim her throne as Briarwood’s reigning prom queen. It’s too late to change now…isn’t it? Or maybe Julian is right. Maybe a little nice goes a long way when you’re known for being mean.

•••** not many spoilers; but it is just a few••***

So I thought this book wasn’t going to catch my interest at first. But I soon got into it. I like how both Grayson and Ellie; was there for Molly and Johnny even though they were so stuck wait; Ellie was so stuck on Grayson! When Grayson was actually going through something! If it wasn’t for Molly and Johnny, I don’t think Grayson would have told Ellie about his mom!
For one thing, I realize that “rich” people or those who are mayors, etc don’t like to tell people what is going on in their family. Especially if there’s an election because they assume they aren’t going to win … which is ridiculous if people want you to win regardless of what is going on with your family. You’ll win! It’s up to the people to vote. I guess his dad just wanted to be a prick and not to let his own son Grayson tell his best friend what was really going on. But glad; that Grayson finally came to his senses because Ellie whining was getting on my last nerve…

Book Description:

Who said mistakes have to be bad?

It’s Christmas break and I’m alone. My best friend is off with the dance team to the Bahama’s and I’m at home, trying to pad my college application by volunteering with Safety Net Mentors, a program that pairs teens with kids in need—and if I finally get to talk to my life-long crush, I’m okay with that.

Everything is going according to plan until I discover that not only is my ex-best friend, Grayson back, but he’s also volunteering. And we get paired with siblings.

Great.

I not only have to talk to him but I have to spend time with him and his mentee. Which seems doable as long as neither of us bring up the past.

Which seems harder to do than say.

Now I’m so confused, I can’t keep my mind straight. There’s something Grayson isn’t telling me and feelings that creep up that weren’t there before.

And I don’t know what to do when what felt like the biggest Christmas break mistake doesn’t feel that was anymore. If only I could figure out what everything meant, I just might survive with my heart intact.

Book Review:

•••• There are a few spoilers in this review••••

Five guys + 1 woman !!

I liked this book it had my attention from beginning to end. But; one thing, I will say that it’s crazy how her brother didn’t know what was going on inside his house. All five men wanted his sister, and his sister wanted them. Neither of them paid any mind to what Henry wanted. It’s understandable why he got mad. And put everyone out; I did think that he called his sister a “fuxking slut” is so uncalled for … she may have done what she did with his friends. But the name calling was so uncalled for.
•••• But I’m still stuck on her having a relationship with five guys it is so weird. Like having to figure out who dicks you going to suck while trying to figure out what two guys are going to fuck you at once. Like sheesh, so intense. All of them was thirty. I believe she was twenty or twenty-one it was something close to that. They all fell in love with her. It’s interesting that they didn’t mind sharing. I thought sure that she was going to pick at least one guy, but she didn’t. I kept thinking it was going to be Aiden or Carter. Especially Aiden because he had done more to her than the other guys. Carter, Daniel, especially Aiden had sex with her more. I was like, but James never had sex with her though! Even, Ryan! Then towards the end when they got the house for them. It finally happened. I was like about time; because they never got that much play as Daniel, Aiden even Ryan got more play than James. I was wondering where he is going or doing lol! He is always leaving with Henry never gotten to have sex with Emily! But good book though; glad that Emily wanted to have kids with every one of them. I thought it was only fair… but if she wanted five kids, she could’ve tried to make “quintuplets.” But having twins and triplets would’ve also made five each!

Book Description:

I’m going to scream all five names.

When I get evicted from my apartment, I move in with my older brother in his ocean-view mansion.

And he has other guests. Five sexy-as-hell, dirty, rich guests, to be exact.

Some of them remember when I was just a little girl, and some of them only care about the woman I’ve become. But all of them keep staring at me with that look, the one that makes my whole body tremble with desire.

My brother would freak if he found out that I want to taste all of his friends, and I can’t afford to be homeless. But my five men definitely aren’t stopping.

And I can’t say no when they sneak into my room in the middle of the night, half-dressed, their hands on my skin. There might be something here, something even deeper than the way their touch pushes me to my limits.

The craziest part is, they don’t mind if they’re sharing me.

And I don’t mind getting passed between them, from one ripped guy to the next.

My Brother’s Five Friends is an over-the-top reverse harem romance with lots of steamy scenes and some bad language. It’s only recommended for readers 18+.

My Brother’s Five Friends is a STANDALONE, full-length novel. No cliffhanger. Guaranteed HEA. Includes bonus content!

Book Review:

Outside the lines?! Hmm 🤔

This book was good.

•••Wait hold up may be some spoilers in it.•••

So like I said it might be spoilers in this book; depends on what I’m thinking while typing up this review. I know that I liked this book it was pretty good; the description of the book gave that away. But anyways, I would like to the point out that I’ve read a few of Emily Goodwin books; and I want to say that Ben lasted way longer than the other dudes during sex. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I just had to say that because usually when I am reading books. The kissing and licking and talking are to dang long and the sex parts are like 2 minutes 😂 just a blink of an eye.

So with that being said; I like how Ben didn’t care that Felicia was a nerd and weird; he loved her regardless. That made Mindy so jealous and wanted what Felicia had. Though they did sex a few times; that is not what he wanted. Mindy was the devil she was pure evil. I think she was jealous of Felicia in high school and as an adult. She was so bitter; it was ridiculous and she tried to clown Felicia a few times, but no one didn’t care what she (Mindy) thought and wasn’t on her side. Even though, her sister gave those side glances. I bet Mindy believed that Ben would leave Felicia but got fool when she found out they were together. I bet she left her husband so that she could be with Ben. But in the end; Felicia got the man. I did thought she was going to be pregnant half towards the end, but it never happened oh well.

A standalone romantic comedy from NYT Bestselling Author Emily Goodwin

Nerd. Geek. Loser.

Words spoken to me on a daily basis. Words that used to hurt me, but have lost their power. I’ve embraced who I am, and if science fiction and gaming makes me uncool, well then I don’t wanna be.

So when a talk, dark and handsome stranger runs into me—literally—at a coffee shop and spills my iced mocha down the front of my shirt, I assume he’ll laugh it off, not ask me out on a date that I politely decline. When things seem too good to be true, they usually are. Because Ben has it all. Good looks. A job as killer as his abs. Great hair and great skills in bed. There’s no way someone like him can be interested in someone like me.

Ulterior motives? Probably. Professional stalker? Most likely. Why else would he be interested? Yet when we see each other again, there’s an attraction I can’t deny. I might be taping my very own “kick me” sign on my back when I agree to go out with him. My dream guy, interested in me for real?

Because guys like Ben don’t fall for girls like me.

Book Review:

.=+++&*****Not that many spoilers but I am trying to make my point in this review with my thoughts lol.

I will say it’s funny how she tells Gus how it is, it’s hilarious. I agree with his friend Maxy, “I like her”… LOL, he (Gussy”) about the get in all the spots just to get himself some “Bo. I knew that Bo wouldn’t last long without falling for Gus, because as they say you cannot resist anything that you want. You will give in to temptation, and she also did, that part where she first ends up in the ER smh with the skate incident; which could’ve been avoided smh, lol. It was both their fault, but I liked how they both were they for each other when they both kept ending up in the ER.

Not only that I do think that Bo, but she’s also not trying to tell anyone the reason behind why she lost her scholarship to an Ivy league college. & not only that she gets weird when Gus kept asking about the kid in her phone, I still think the kid is her son, and she got pregnant, and that’s why she lost her scholarship. This my gut feeling; and I am always right.”

And ding ding ding, I was right, Bo is Davis mom. & Bo mother is a straight bitch. I’m hoping by the end that she can get her son back and be with Gus as a family. Her mom doesn’t deserve Davis, because the way she’s talking down on her daughter who’s Davis mom. What a bitch even, Bo dad Taylor knows Rachel being a cunt.

I was glad that Gus finally found out that Davis was Bo, son like took him long enough if it wasn’t for Gus mom telling him, I bet 100% that Bo would’ve taken that shit to her grave, smh. He hasn’t kept any secrets from her, and he told her, but she wanted to get stank mad and cry like girl shut up, he cared and wanted to know the story of what happened.

The fact of the matter is Gus has proven to her that he cares about her so Much. But in her mind, she’s not there yet. It’s hard for her to believe him because one he’s a hockey player two she dated one who ended up pregnant by. But she needs to realize that Gus isn’t Jesse.

She mad annoying because she felt like she can up and leave, but if Gus does the exact thing she’ll be mad as hell. I wanted to smack her in chapter thirty-one.

But in the end, I was that she realized that she can’t live without Gus and got her man back 2ho never stopped loving her. Not only that I also was glad that she and her mother Rachel finally made up. Though it sucked that she wouldn’t have Davis back as her son, it’s good that she still be there for him and with him even if only as his sister.

& before I end this book, I will say I just freaking hate Bo whole name especially that “Jane.”

Book Description:

***MISADVENTURES ARE STANDALONE ROMANCES THAT CAN BE READ IN ANY ORDER***

Winning has always come naturally for stud ice hockey defenseman Gus “the Bus” Persson. On the ice or off, he’s never had any trouble scoring, racking up goals—and girls. As the best player in his rookie class and the number-one draft pick of the Malibu Suns, he’s taking his game to the next level and is justifiably full of swagger.

So why does one of the Suns’ ice girls treat him like he’s invisible?

Bo St. James doesn’t have time for rookie hotshots who think their gloves don’t stink. She knows them, she works with them, she trains them. It doesn’t matter that Gus Persson is the hottest newbie she’s ever seen. She knows his type. She’s got big plans of her own, and she’s not going to let some cocky rich kid athlete keep her from her goals.

But there’s a chemistry between them they cannot deny. A lust that burns so hot, it threatens to melt the very ice on which they make their livings. The game has changed for both of them. Together, can these two play to win?

Book Review:

This book was really good and interesting!

¥¥¥••••********So, with that beginning, said there are a couple of irritated spoilers in this review, lol!********•••••¥¥¥</
This girl was so dumb like who in their right mind would let there best friend and boyfriend live with them. Not only that; let them work together in the same place. You can’t trust; everybody, not family, definitely not your friend; it’s only a REAL trustworthy friend who wouldn’t fool around with their friend boyfriend smh; Ananda was so trusting; like dang girl! It was signs there, and she realizes that once Sasha told her; even before Sasha told Ananda I kind of no I was 100% sure Logan was cheating on her with Kenna or whatever her name is that I don’t care to remember. But; Logan and his parents better not be mad when Ananda get it, Carter. I bet he’ll treat her better than Logan would brother or not!

Lmao, Ananda sister I love her. 😂 That song she made about Ananda ex-best friend. Priceless…

Logan, he changed Ananda; more she was a different person than who she truly was. Whereas, Carter didn’t change her; she was more herself with him. He brought out the better in her whereas Logan didn’t. She didn’t have that fire and sparked that she has to Carter then she did with Logan.

Logan is made for Kenna; both crap pot. But it looks like she changes Logan… Kenna probably was always evil and dirty. Ananda was more of a friend to her than she was to Ananda…
The crazy thing is my name is “Cassandra” lmao and the crap her sister done to Logan and Kenna. Is how I am towards my sister boyfriend. 😂 I don’t play about my family.
But I’m still p*** off at Carter for what he did to Ananda no matter if it was a prank or not. I was mad that he let his bean-pie head *** mom get in his head to run off Ananda and even his dad just because he bangs his wife. Like ugh, that had me hot! But glad in the end he learned what a mistake it was, and he went after Ananda and got his woman back. Though, I want to smack him silly. This book was a 5-star rating; I still can’t stand Kenna, his parents (his stepdad Philip) not Wulf and his brother Logan; who couldn’t stand up to his parents and be a real man to be his TRUE self. Glad, in the end, Ananda didn’t become back friends with Kenna after there talk.

Book Description:

Logan Dane.
The beautiful boy I had a crush on. The handsome and successful man I was engaged to. The butthead that broke my heart.

Carter Dane.
He turned my entire high school experience into a game of chicken. He gave good banter and was sexy as hell. Not that I noticed.

Two brothers, different as night and day. I thought I loved one and hated the other. Until a series of clichéd events happened, and lines were crossed and previous perceptions got turned on their head.

Carter Dane. He’s my boyfriend’s brother. He’s also my best enemy.
