The Bastard and the Heir by Eden Finley & Saxon James

An okay read…

Book Review:

***Spoilers here and there***

Darcy I believe was mentioned in Emile book. Cause he sounds mighty familiar ….

Come to an end up in the Husband Hoax book. But I can’t remember Wren in the Up in Flames book. I think that due to all these books I be reading and can’t remember.

But with that being said. I will say this book was okay. Did I enjoy it ‘kind of’ I wasn’t really interested in like I was with the other books.

There story was interesting but I gave this book a 3-star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ at least !!! That’s my opinion. But overall I am glad everything worked out in the end between Darcy and Wren!!!

Even though this book didn’t interest me and was kind of boring.. at least it has a happy ending!

Book Description:

DARCY

The death of my father not only rips out my heart but tears open my entire life.

His funeral brings the appearance of his bastard son, the byproduct of my father’s apparent misadventures. Wren Porter is a prickly, untrusting beef cake in an ill-fitting suit, and he looks so much more the part of a Ritcherson than I do.

Now it’s on me to teach him the family business while ignoring my attraction to the man the world thinks is my brother.

All it would take is one misstep for him to find out the secret my father literally took to his grave.

He’s not the bastard son.

I am.

Wren’s the true heir to the Ritcherson fortune, but I’ve fought my whole life for my place at the table. If anyone discovers the truth, I’ll lose everything.

I used to think the worst thing that could happen would be losing the company, but the closer I get to Wren, I realize the biggest thing on the line is my heart.

The Bastard and the Heir is a medium angst romance between two men who are absolutely, positively not related. The world just thinks they are.

The Revenge Agenda (Accidental Love #3) by Saxon James

Finished this in a half a day…

***Spoilers here and there***

I don’t know if this book was an ARC because I forgot to read it. So I do believe it was!! And it sucks if it was because I been supposed to read it; but got distracted with my bracelet business and on top of that ended up sick as well! So if it was I would’ve been finished this book!!!

So with that being said……,…….

I can definitely say I enjoyed this book and can’t wait for Madden book even though I’m seeing that Xander book going to be the last one.

Not only that I am so happy for Rush and Hunter they both deserved to be happy and be together. That ex-boyfriend/fiancé of theirs was just horrible piece of dog poo …

Like the way he treated Hunter was sooo wrong. The things he said and done was just mean and spiteful all because he the one who ended up being caught.

All he had to do was move on but no he wanted to ruin Hunter but the joke was on Ian because he lost everything he worked hard for; for being a nasty person!

They say KARMAs a B* and it sure is and karma gotten Ian good too.

And everything worked out in the end for both Hunter and Rush.. I was glad to read about Rush because in the other book he was always on the go.. it’s good to learn more about him and his ADHD. I have a family member who’s had ADHD.

Book Description:

Rush

When I show up to surprise my boyfriend in a barely-there festive outfit, I’m expecting him to be alone.

Not hosting family.

His fiancé’s family.

Down one boyfriend and up a lot of embarrassment, I flee with my tail between my legs. The broken heart will fade. My humiliation, not so much, but my saving grace is the fact that I never have to see either of them ever, ever again.

Until I walk into work and come face to face with my new boss.

Hunter

I never, in a million years, would have guessed the man hiding under his desk at work would be the one person I hoped to never see again.

My ex-fiancé’s side piece.

Apparently I can’t fire the guy because of personal issues, so I try to play nice, which is a whole lot harder to do when I find out my ex is still texting Rush. The same ex I haven’t heard from since I walked out on his begging.

Rush tells me he didn’t know about me. He tells me there were others. He also tells me our ex still wants him and so, we come up with a plan. To show him what it feels like when you want someone who doesn’t want you back.

All we need is a camera. His number. And one shared kiss.

Revenge has never been sweeter.

7 Minutes in Kevin (Games We Play #3) by D.J. Jamison

Just finished this book!!!

Book Review:

***Spoilers here and there***

I enjoyed this book with Kevin and Garret. I definitely wanted to see how they ended up together. And how did Darren really taken them being together.

At least it wasn’t too bad on them. I love the fact they had supportive family members and people who cared about them.

Book Description:

7 minutes in…holy heck, what have I done?!

What happens when I return early from a work trip to find my son throwing yet another party?

Annoyance. Exasperation. Temptation…

I’m tired, yearning for my bed, but I hadn’t counted on the games my son and his friends play–or the one person who’d be waiting in my closet after everyone else is gone.

The guy who’s been haunting my fantasies lately.

He’s too beautiful. Too young. Too off-limits, being one of my son’s best friends.

And…on his knees for me.

Oh god.

7 Minutes in Kevin is a son’s best friend romance with a bi-curious dad, an androgynous beauty who challenges his understanding of himself, and a quirky small town full of watching eyes.

Truth or Darren (Games We Play #2) by D.J. Jamison

2/3 of another book I’ve finished reading

Book Review:

good

Spoilers here and there

I think deep down it had to take Darren to meet someone for him to change and show people the real him. In reality; It was the person who hated him for all the wrong reasons. Because of said person twin sister … but I’m glad that Abby finally told her parents including Linc the truth about who really broke her heart.

Especially for them to hate someone for that long for no particular reason! When reality he did nothing wrong!

I’m glad everything worked out in the end. Especially learning more about Lincoln especially with him popping up in the other series I had read that connected to this series.

Book Description:

Truth or…whoa, that’s not the dare!

What happens when my big mouth writes a check it can’t cash while taunting my ex’s brother in a game of Truth or Dare? I end up with his tongue in my mouth. In my very straight, totally uninterested mouth.

While I don’t feel anything.

Nothing at all.

In fact, I barely noticed.

So, why can’t I stop thinking about it?

Truth or Darren features a troublemaker with good intentions, a guy who’s none too impressed with his sister’s ex, and an animosity that flares hotter than either of them could ever imagine–but which the townspeople of Granville, Nebraska, are all too happy to speculate about.

I’m not going to say too much about this book. But I did enjoyed it. I felt like Logan brought out Griffin happy side. Because I think Griffin had a lot of angry inside due to his kids not being around.

But when he met Logan he found his happiness and then he finally gotten his kids to spend time with him and be with him. I was glad about that.

But not only that Jess + Griffin family wasn’t made about the white lie that Jess and Logan told. They was glad to have Logan in the family …

But it turns out when Christmas is your life 24/7, the shine wears off the twinkly lights after a while. The holidays are a heck of a lot of work, and when I go home, I want peace and quiet, not fa-la-la’ing on my porch. That all changes when my sister brings me an early Christmas gift. One I didn’t ask for. One that’s tall, broad, and handsome…

Suddenly this season got a whole lot brighter.

Christmas Falls is a multi-author M/M romance series set in a small town that thrives on enough holiday charm to rival any Hallmark movie.

It was an interesting read… ☑️

***spoilers little here and there***

I knew deep down that Kyran had a thing for Avi. But he used his hate that he had deep down inside for him . Instead because of what happened to him when he was twelve. Which I felt so bad for him because his parents wasn’t there for him. He had to deal with all of that by himself.

I think if he would’ve be-friended Avi in the beginning they would’ve been great friends and could’ve worked through what he was going through. But everything changed when they went to college.

I think Frankie knew that they both wanted each other. I think that’s why she chosen both Avi and Kyran. She could’ve chosen anybody else to work with her along side Avi but she wanted Kyran…

All in all… I’m just glad that everything worked out in the end. But I still want to know who told on Avi about his only fans I kept thinking it was Lexi or maybe Theo but.. more so not Theo because I think he was beginning weird because he subscribe to Avi onlyFans lol..

But anyways as I was saying I am glad everything worked out in the end for both Avi and Ky… especially with Kyran parents. Especially his dad… because that’s who he had deep problems with including his mom!! Though more so I think he needed it more with his dad because he live with him….

Book Description:

Kyran Harbor is everything I’m not.

Rich. Popular. A superstar football player who’s awfully broody for someone who has it all. Basically, he’s a preppy jock who hates me. Oh, and he’s also my stepbrother.

That’s right. We’re stuck together, sharing a school, a house… A bathroom. Honestly, I wouldn’t care… If he wasn’t such an uptight control-freak who messes with me just because we’re different.

I had every intention of avoiding him when we got to college… Until abrupt misfortune forces us both into a compromising position.

Now the grouchy jerk I was hoping to evade might be the only person who can help me out of it.

Avi Vega is everything I despise.

A dreamer. A flake. An artist who smokes too much weed and thinks aliens exist. And by some sick cosmic joke, he’s now my stepbrother, following me on what should’ve been my escape plan.

It was already a disaster. Add a sudden financial disruption to the mix, and let’s just say my options are heavily limited.

If I want to stay an all-star quarterback on the way to the NFL, I’ll need to do something drastic. Unfortunately for me, and my desperate desire for control, the perpetually smiling stoner has a plan.

Maybe we can stop hating each other just enough to pull this off. As long as we remember we’re only doing it… for the fans.

** For The Fans is a full-length standalone MM forbidden romance with an HEA. This book contains sensitive subject matter that could make some readers uncomfortable. Please heed foreword warnings and proceed with caution.

Unloved (The Unlucky Ones #2) by Marley Valentine

Just finished ☑️

Book Review:

***spoilers little here and there***

I’m glad that Rhys met Lennox and Samuel. Because they were who he was missing in his life.

It took tragedy for both Lennox and Samuel to see they were it for each other. Only thing they were missing was Rhys.

I so sad about Rhys relapsing again when his horrible dad showed up again. I wish he let one of the guys be there for him during that time. But things happened and I was glad his mom came around and told him about six months of being sober he could see his sister.

Because his dad was so much of a cunt and hateful he use the one thing that Rhys loved and cared about and dangle it over his head. To get at him with hurtful and hateful words. I would’ve loved to see what happened after they arrived in Japan and read to see if he met his cunt of a daddy and how he felt that Rhys finally gotten to see his sister after all this time and years!!!

Book Description:

From USA Today bestselling author Marley Valentine comes an all new emotional, hurt/comfort, polyamorous romance.

We longed. We lost. We loved. Desperately.

I thought I had my life all figured out. But after a college football accident leaves me deaf, I was learning how to live all over again.

I expected the anger, the frustration, and the struggle to readjust, but what I didn’t expect to happen amongst the chaos, was to fall in love.

Especially not with two men.

Rough-edged puzzle pieces, Rhys, Samuel, and I were nothing but aching memories, painful realities, and hidden scars.

We were products of our pasts, abandoned and unloved, messy and complicated. Individually we had baggage; together we had mountains to climb.

But when the three of us were tangled up in one another, spilling secrets in the dark, hearts beating in sync, nothing else mattered but them.

We needed to break the cycle, because they deserved love… And who knows, maybe I finally did too.

Two Truths and a Lyle (Games We Play #0.5) by D.J. Jamison

One of the four books I’m reading! I’m almost finished with this one. I’m on the epilogue now! I didn’t want to post it until I knew for sure I was going to end up finishing it!

Book Review:

***Spoilers here and there***

It’s not much I would like to say about this book. Only thing I can say is Darren and Calista I think that’s how you spelled her name. Are mean in a certain way as they are helpful. Because they don’t take their friends feelings in accountability.

I am hoping when I get to Darren book that someone do to him the exact same thing they’ve done to others. When it comes to the person Darren falls for…

But over all I’m glad to see that regardless of Darren and Carissa um ? Whatever. Putting out their (Lyle and Truman) feelings towards each other I was glad they ended up happy together..

Book Description:

Two Truths and a…wait, what?!

What happens when drunken idiots, aka your friends, use a silly drinking game to sideswipe you and your BFF with the truth bomb that you’re actually in love with each other?

Truman: You impulsively kiss the best friend you’ve been in love with for ages…then wake up with a hangover—and regrets.

Lyle: You freak out because you’re not gay or bi, before realizing the kiss wasn’t *actually* bad. Then you begin to wonder…should we do it again?

Two Truths and a Lyle is a cute, low-angst M/M romance with two oblivious best friends who are perfect for one another, a town full of quirky residents who get in everyone’s business, and a sweet demisexual awakening.

Don’t Bang Your Stepbro (Rules We Break #3) by D.J. Jamison

Enjoying this so far 👀 📖 #nook,

Book Review:

***Spoilers here and there***

I’m over here wondering if Fisher will get a book! Got to the end of the book. Not realizing the book that I posted on my instagram was the book about Fisher. So that I’m glad about and can’t wait to read his story …

Not only that I plan to read Logan book as well. Even if it’s a Christmas book I read those anyways.

But enough about all that. I figured that Beckett and Wes liked each other deep down because of how they acted towards each other. I was glad when they figured things out when they gotten home from Vegas.

Nobody was mad at them about their prank marriage that was actually real.. especially his dad… because that would’ve sucked if his dad didn’t give him the business that he (Wes) and even Beck worked hard for.. since they was little kids …

It’s not much I want to say so I’m a leave it there..

Book Description:

I’m not one for rules, but Don’t Bang Your Stepbro is kind of a no-brainer.

Until I wake up naked in a Vegas hotel bed with my stepbrother, Beckett, each of us with a hell of a hangover and a matching wedding ring.

We’ve already made a huge mistake, so what’s the point in denying what’s been simmering between us for ages?

Might as well enjoy the honeymoon, right?

But what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Or at least, it’s supposed to.

With a hometown of family and friends who see us as brothers, not lovers, we have to find a way back to who we were before this snafu. But some boundaries can’t be uncrossed. You don’t bang your stepbro, but maybe…maybe when he’s your husband…you do.

Don’t Bang Your Stepbro is Book 3 of the Rules We Break series about a group of friends in a quirky small town. There will be gossip, innuendo, and nosy neighbors who will put these stepbros and their secrets to the test!
