My High School Christmas Boyfriend (Boyfriend #1) by Kylie Key

I like reading a book that can keep my interest. I’m almost finish reading this book. I do wonder if there will be a third book. Since this the first book and I already read the second one!

Book Review:

This was a great read interesting how they met. 🙃

Spoilers? Hmm maybe? Let’s see! There could be a lot of splashes 💦 here and there. 💦📖

I liked this book. I don’t think I would’ve ended up disappointed when I did start reading this book. Because for one, when I first started, the book caught my attention, and I didn’t want to stop reading because I wanted to know what will happen next.

Not only that, but I was also glad that Rylee found well more so Aiden randomly popped up at her house unexpectedly. Though neither of them knew that (Aiden was going to show up, though he brought his sister Krystal there for the Christmas lights and decorations) whereas Rylee spotted him outside of her street in front of her house.

But the only bad thing about when they saw each other again. Her aunt was horrible towards Aiden and his little sister, who has a disability. I wouldn’t say I liked it one bit. I like that Rylee put some sense into her aunt’s head because I think she needed to hear what Rylee thought. Plus, Rylee was ignoring her too. But what I did like was the apology that Rylee’s aunt gave Aiden about what she said about them both especially his sister. Because of how she was feeling when it came to her son that was talking from her, who also had a disability who didn’t live long and died at four months. That was just sad.

I did like that Rylee’s aunt invited Aiden and Krystal over to make Rylee Christmas better. Since technically she did ruin it and also her parents weren’t coming until later because of the weather. But she (Rylee aunt) invited Aiden’s parents and grandparents over, which was good. Rylee’s parents finally came, and they liked his mom’s candles, which was a good thing. Because I thought she could make a living off of selling candles.

It also sucked about his dad, but I also thought disabilities and health issues might run in his family. Which so sad, especially with his sister. But I thought she was adorable. 😍

My High School Fake Boyfriend (The Boyfriend Series, #2) by Kylie Key

This book is actually pretty good. First time I ever read a book. Where the guy didn’t know everything was FAKE!

Book Review:

Spoilers.. thrown here and there in this review…
I read this book in like one day. Though I finish it at 1 am close to 2 am… this book I liked it. It was different, especially when it came to Peyton, not knowing about being a FAKE date for Mattie.

I felt bad for him; only reason he found out was because of Josh. Though I think Josh hated on him. & wanted to make him feel bad about himself and have him thinking Mattie didn’t like him. She only wanted to use him to make “Josh” jealous.

When that is the TRUTH of it all, but Mattie ended up falling in like with Peyton at the homecoming dance. She didn’t care about Josh. After that, it was more so about Peyton. Even when she got her phone taken away from her, she was trying to find him. But what ends up happening was Peyton finding out the truth from her best friend, Bella.

I understood why Bella told Peyton; I would’ve too. I did felt bad for him. I also thought, 9/10, he probably was a handsome boy even though he had the “port-wine birthmark” from birth. People can be harsh and mean. I understood how he was kind of hesitant about certain things that were happening.

I also know her dad was going to like him since Peyton, a Bears fan..🤣 & her (Mattie) mom and brothers going to like him too. I wanted to see if and when he meet her parents and brothers, but that never happened in the book. But it was interesting to learn who Katrina was 🤷🏽‍♀️… and I see why his uncle Luke knew things that were going on in school since Katrina was Mattie volleyball coach. & wind up -dating Peyton Uncle Luke…. very interesting and Peyton learning who Katrina was, was priceless.

But one thing I can say I was freaking died laughing at the part about the burnt pizza that her brothers tried to make… that was the funniest part of the book. I cracked up so hard at that. & Mattie said she tried to laugh at what happened, but tbh I would’ve died laughing. Even though my mom would’ve been fussing and me ending up grounded. But Mattie holds her laughter, though!!!

Btw: I can’t wait to read the first book to this series I think it’s a Christmas book. I can’t remember 🤣🤷🏽‍♀️… but not only that, I can’t wait for the next two books to come out about Bella – “My High School Billionaire Boyfriend” and Tanchia, “My High School Quarterback Boyfriend”… I’m going to be on the lookout for those books.

Something New by Amanda Abram

Currently reading “Something New” & hoping Cassie (the girl who has the same name as me “Cassandra”) doesn’t go back to her cheating ex-boyfriend.

Book Review:

It was definitely something new going on even something BETTER!!

Will there be spoilers? Maybe who knows until this review is written.

Okay, I would like to start and say that Elijah was trash for thinking that Cassie was going to take him back so fast. Not only that, make things into a joke, especially when he didn’t run behind Cassie when he was caught kissing his ex-girlfriend Hannah. It was Dylan who chased Cassie. Not only that, but it was also other situations between him and Cassie that he didn’t run behind her. It was always Dylan who did.

I couldn’t understand how he thought nothing was going to become of their (Cassie and Dylan) relationship. Especially when they were always together and looking out for each other.

What made it worse he didn’t want Cassie like he thought he did. For him to ruin his friendship and get mad at both Dylan and Cassie was a waste of time. Because of one, Cassie knew that he was still in LOVE with Hannah and knew that their relationship was going to end eventually. Which I agree on because he acted all shocked about getting caught kissing Hannah.

Then on top of that, he fought Dylan over Cassie for nothing when he still was in love with Hannah. If he wanted Cassie, he would’ve traded with Dylan when they had picked names out of the bucked during class. But Cassandra learned the truth behind the name picking.

Elijah didn’t want to trade Dylan; he wanted to stay partners with Hannah, whereas his best friend ended up partners with Cassandra. Like everyone else, I, too, thought that Dylan was a good match for her. She and Elijah weren’t fit for one another. Because in the back of Cassie’s mind, Elijah would’ve always had feelings for Hannah and wanted to be with her.

Heck, I figured that the before Cassie even mentioned it and even the proof where Dylan told Cassie when he learned his true feelings for her. Was when she was sitting on Elijah’s car, staring at Elijah watching Hannah in a bindi and being around Hannah and her friends all day. It was Dylan who went and kept her company until Elijah finally figured out who his actual girlfriend was.

In the end, I was glad that Elijah came to his senses after Cassie told him off to where he learned the truth of what she felt and where his feelings were at. Plus, he got the stick out of his behind when he learned that his best friend was moving away, which did it for him. Because he knew he didn’t want to lose his best friend.

I was glad all three of them work things out with each other and stayed friends, especially Dylan and Elijah! Dylan and Cassie ended up getting back together, and Dylan also got his friends back.

Though I still say that they weren’t his friends, I mean NOT one was a TRUE friend, they all sided with Elijah over Dylan, which was wack in my opinion.

They felt like just cause Elijah cheated, they will take his side over Dylan, who ended up being there for the ONE girl that Elijah hurt the most!

Book Description:

Cassie Briggs never thought she’d be married at age sixteen—especially not to Dylan Meyers, her boyfriend’s best friend. Of course, they’re not married for real. It’s just a project for their Life Economics class, where each student is randomly paired up to manage finances, make important life decisions, and deal with catastrophic events.

It was supposed to be an easy A, but now Cassie is not so sure. Getting paired with Dylan is bad enough, but then Cassie’s boyfriend Elijah gets paired with his ex-girlfriend, Hannah: the former childhood sweetheart who broke his heart. The girl who took him months to get over—if he’s ever gotten over her at all.

When the project leads to inevitable heartbreak for Cassie, she begins to find comfort in the most unexpected place: her pretend husband…her now-ex-boyfriend’s best friend…the last guy in the world she should be growing closer to. And as Elijah vows to stop at nothing to win back Cassie’s heart—despite being the one to break it—Cassie soon finds herself facing her own important life decision: does she want to give Elijah a second chance? Or could she be ready for something new?

The Wrong Prom Date (The Wrong Match Book 3) by Alexandra Moody

Ohh I can’t until she learns his true feelings! & who really wrote that poem…

Book Review:

Really Good!!!

^*Spoilers? Maybe a possibility!!

I was excited to read this book; I actually couldn’t wait to read it because I wanted to see what happened when it came to Hayley and Ethan. I also was wondering why Teagen wasn’t brought up in this book a lot the way Hayley was brought up in the other two books. Heck, even Evan wasn’t brought up that much in Hayley’s book either.

Other than that, it was good. Kept me wanting to read more. I was glad that Hayley didn’t fall for Owen bull-crap, and finally figured out what type of person he was. I mean, everybody was telling her how Owen was, and she finally saw his TRUE colors. & realize how amazing Ethan was after she fell for him though she was blinded by who Ethan liked. I mean, his best friend Isla was giving her so many clues as to who Ethan wanted, but clearly, Hayley couldn’t figure it out. Even after they broke up (fake relationship), she still thought Ethan liked some other girl (Laurie), and only time she knew he wanted her was when they were on the way to prom, and he had candles lit. But he had to tell her who the girl was.

Which was her. Smh! I was glad she figured it out and understood which brother she needed to be with. But what I wanted to happen was him telling her who that poem was written about in seventh grade.

Book Description:

Can a fake relationship land her the prom date of her dreams?

Hayley Lawson had no chance of getting a date to prom. Thanks to a rumor gone wrong, the boys at school were all convinced she was only interested in dating college guys. She certainly wasn’t holding her breath waiting for someone to ask her to the big dance.

But, when her long-time crush returns to town, Hayley’s hopes of landing her dream date suddenly reignite. Owen Beck was everything she ever wanted in a guy, but after years of waiting, she couldn’t rely on fate alone to bring them together. If she wanted to go to prom with him, she was going to have to put her heart on the line and ask him herself. Her promposal doesn’t exactly go to plan though, and when Owen’s twin swoops in to ‘save’ her, she ends up in the arms of the wrong brother.

She might still have a chance with Owen though. Ethan knows his brother better than anyone, and he seems to think a bit of good old fashioned jealousy might just get Owen to ask Hayley to the prom himself.

A few weeks faking a relationship shouldn’t be too hard. After all, Ethan is nothing compared to Owen. Right?

The Wrong Costar (The Wrong Match #2) by Alexandra Moody

Currently reading… “The Wrong Co-Star” ….. I’m at 48/100 in my reading challenge. Though it’s a lot of books I want to read that I am trying to get around to reading. This is one of them.

Book Review:

Spoilers? The possibility there’s spoilers listed!!
So okay! This book was as good as the first book. I wasn’t disappointed at all. I knew that both Teagan and Liam were going to end up falling for one another.

Not only that, I felt that Teagan was mean to Liam and didn’t give him the chance to show her who he was. She judged him based on what she saw on the blogs, news, magazines, etc. She learns he was a nice person when he saved her from those guys who were fighting in front of her.

I was glad she stopped being mean to him. Because he wasn’t mean to her, I think he was doing things to get attention from her. Plus, she had a stick up her behind because of what was going on with her mom.

When it comes to her mom, I was glad that she talked some sense into her mother. & her mother finally figured out that she needed help. Not only her mother, Liam finally sticking it to his mother. What I realize a lot of times teenagers and children who are thirteen and younger parents control their lives and also become money hungry when their child becomes a star (actress). I don’t even understand half the time why children or even teens look for their parents to become their managers. Half the time, the parents can be evil and controlling. I was glad that it took what that director Jake? 😢 I think that was his name 😩🤣 I don’t know how I forgot. But it took for that guy to talk some sense into Liam for him to stick it to his mother. & I was glad.

Because Liam went ahead and did the play and didn’t ruin it for Teagan and the other castmates she in drama class with, at least he (Liam) was committed, and Jake (the director) understood and didn’t fired Liam from the movie. He gave Teagan a position in the film, which was GREAT!

I can’t wait to read the story with her best friend, Hayley.

Book Description:

When Teagan lands the lead in her school play, the last thing she expected was for Hollywood heartthrob and notorious bad-boy Liam Black to be cast as her costar. The whole school is buzzing with his arrival, but she couldn’t be more annoyed. How can she possibly shine on stage when the limelight is focused entirely on him?

Liam might be at Lincoln High to prepare for his next movie role, but just because he can act doesn’t mean he’s the perfect guy for the part. He’s got a bad reputation. He doesn’t take their play seriously. And, worst of all, he and Teagan can’t stand each other.

They’ll have to learn to work together if they want the play to be a success, but the more time they spend together the harder it is to ignore the sparks flying between them on stage.

Good chemistry is just a part of acting though. Teagan and Liam are only pretending. Right?

This book is a full length, standalone romance.

I Hate You More by Alexandra Moody

This book actually good! But there’s no way I can date someone who hates me or pick at me… tsk… but I actually think the guy “like” her that’s why he ran all the guys away 🤣 but he did it in a mean way smh 🤦🏽‍♀️

Book Review:

The hate you give; that end up making me LOVE YOU.
****•There are spoilers in this review; a lot or little less depends•*****

You can tell that Ally had so many doubts when it came to Chase… Especially when it came to her feelings for him and how he felt for her. I figured he had a thing for her even though what he did at the dance freshman year was a bust… though it was the right thing to do for Ally though I believe he should’ve given Ally an option to decide that decision with Declan… her doubts with Chase has the present intervening with the past which had proven to see him being so different… but things can change….I think he hated her ONLY because she hated him… & jumped to a conclusion before he could explain to her why he did what he did at the dance… Same when she accused him of the photo when she went to that club and dancing on the pole.. she accused him and came to a conclusion that he did it… she only found out that he didn’t do it… because Declan and Chase got into it; by Chase demanding him to apologize… Declan wasn’t even worth the air she breathes in senior year or freshman year if you look at it…. plus Chase parents are horrible especially his father sheesh no one wants a parent like that…

But oh…. when he (Chase) said: “I didn’t have a choice, Ally, because if I didn’t hate you, I would love you, and loving you would only break my heart.” I knew that had to be the reason, and I knew he liked/loved her, but she was to blind to see through her hate for him… by getting mad about Declan who was the same person he was freshman year to senior year. I figure I was right too… but kind sad and thinking duh Ally when she stated: “I’d created an enemy out of a boy whose only fault was loving me, and my heart was breaking from his words.” Sometimes you learn from your mistakes… but half the time I thought Tessa set Ally up with Chase so that feelings can start to show on Ally side since Chase already had feelings. No way; you think you not like someone; can’t get rid of someone if you “hate them”.. when you can you actually can’t stand them; when you don’t think you have feelings. No way I will be around someone or try rid them if I dislike them for bullying me down or hurting my feelings…they wouldn’t be in the same home heck I wouldn’t care what my daddy said… build me a treehouse I don’t have time for living in a house with the enemy… in reality Chase was not Ally enemy he was her lover she just didn’t know it yet…. but at least, in the end, he showed her that no matter what I’m coming for you “to make you my girl; because I always love you” and she finally stops running and agree to date him once she found out that her father knew about Chase loving her among other things. But besides that… UGH! I need a book with Ally twin brother Shane and her best friend, Tessa… I would like to see them together because she has a thing for him and he doesn’t even know!!! But maybe he does!

Stronger by Erica Marselas

Starting this book tomorrow, after I finish prom king… this book looks very interesting and anyone who been bully before can understand…

Book Review:

They both Hunter & Brooke came out strong.

****There’s a few Spoilers in this review:***

I’ve had been sad when reading a book; I’ve been upset, even shed a little tear here and there…I can’t remember how many books I’ve that I may have been sad or shed a tear, but I’m just going to make it short and point out how this book had me sad, and I did get teary-eyed when they kidnap and beat her well more so Kara… I know that feeling of getting bullied by people who were popular and talk bad about how you look or the way you dressed… I think when you get bullied, it’s the ones that talk down on you to make you feel bad about yourself which can break you or even kill you… such as Hunter (wanting to kill himself) to Brooklyn (break the person who she was in elementary and half of middle school) … it’s like jealousy makes people bitter as heck and want you to feel bad about yourself because their life isn’t perfect and people may not like them or want them. That is what Kara showed and it was bad when Emma and Dan follow her every move I felt like just as Hunter maybe they were afraid of her too; but when they’d realize how far Kara was going to take it they put their foot down, but in the end they still got charged for the crimes they did… but at least Dan gotten less charge since he didn’t do much and even Emma but more so I felt like John and Kara deserve those years that they got but like Brooke said Kara was the one that needed to pull that time and get charged more than the others since she was the main one to beat Brooke down and abuse her… I had to laugh with them when Riley said Kara was going to end up being FAT and someone B***H in jail… I was like HECK YEAH I hope so…

I was glad. At the end that Brooke got that justice that she needed and it sucks how bad Kara wanted to hurt Hunter too that lady was so horrible that she would go to the extreme smh! That hate she had for Brooke was crazy.. but at least everyone was supportive of Brooke and glad she hell her head high and came back to school. & even won prom queen!!! But I wish that those chapters weren’t so dang LOOOOOONG!!!!

More Than His Best Friend (More Than Best Friends #1) by Sally Henson

I hope 🤞 I like this book and don’t become bored with it… I think 🤔 I may have been bored with because I was sleepy and didn’t realize I fell asleep while reading 😂📖

Book Review:

****There’s just a few spoilers***
I was going through book two and three and found out her parents done found out about them in book three by rumors come on now. I was going to see if I can make the pain go away by reading book two and three, but I don’t think I’ll make it because if book one feels like a freaking drag no way I’m a sit through another 60+ chapters I bet that book two and three have. Just for Reagan to be whiny every chapter I wish Stacey take pictures as she did with Cameron and Reagan just so my headache would be gone with this chick. Like gah; I hate books like this when the author drags the story on forever especially with so many unnecessary chapters ugh could’ve stopped at 20 something then made the rest into the next two books.
But the thing is this book is good omg! But I cannot take it. I just wanted Lane to stop giving in to her for once, like sheesh like hiding the crap from people…. but get mad when they spread rumors, I’m like if she doesn’t give them something to talk about. Like half the guys and her friends know that Lane liked her and their friend Tobi and both their mom sees it too. But nooooo stupid little sixteen years Reagan want to drag it, I’m like lordt Lane is eighteen he should’ve told Reagan I’ll wait for you once you turn eighteen because lord this girl whine throughout the rest of the book once Lane told her how he felt and when he kissed her. I wanted Lane to tell her father when he was talking about Paul wanting to take her out, but no she didn’t want to tell her father… I’m not going to waste my brain cells on the next books at all though I want to know what happens next if I do decide on reading them I pray it’s less than 40 chapters,….. I’m not going to lie the last few chapters I was scheming through them. Plus there’s the 4th book about their friend Cameron I more than likely will read that one, curious since he had a thing for whiny Reagan too.

The Tapper Twins: Go To War (with each other) by Geoff Rodkey

Book Description:

But when the competition escalates into an all-out battle that’s fought from the cafeteria of their New York City private school all the way to the fictional universe of an online video game, the twins have to decide if their efforts to destroy each other are worth the price.
