But got mad at Noah for the most ridiculous things. Glad when she got the stick out her behind. And actually realize that Noah wanted her and nothing wrong with getting pregnant by him.

I felt like she was fighting her for him and finally realize her feelings for him was there when she had that talk with her dad.

I forgot to post this book. That I was listening to, just finished it…

Book Review:

Spoilers here and there

I like how book 2 was actually a short read and not that long. It was good I’m definitely going to listen to volume three. To see what happened next.

I figure that Olivia was going to give in, into Noah sooner or later. She was playing hard to get in my opinion when she darn well she was into Noah from the start. But she was pushing her feeling away.

I was glad that she at least gave him a chance. Because he likes her a lot but I think he should’ve have a talk with her.

But at the end of this book I was confused. About why she ran away. Like just because of what he was doing. I’m trying to figure out was he trying to hurt himself or nah!

I can’t wait to read book three so I can figure out what in the world is going on… I hate reading something that makes me confused!!!

Book Description:

Arranged marriage? Check.

Cocky new husband? Check.

It’s a marriage of convenience—one I’m determined to keep strictly professional. I can’t be stupid enough to fall for this sexy playboy’s charm or advances. I have to be strong, even if he is my husband.

Except he has a huge cock with an even bigger ego, and his main goal in life seems to be getting me to stroke both. The arrogant bastard is like sweet, sugary candy for my libido. I know he’s bad for me.

But I want to devour every wicked inch of him.

With his sexual prowess and experience, I know he’ll be explosive in the bedroom. And since we’re stuck together for the foreseeable future—keeping up this marriage charade long enough to turn the company profitable again—I deserve something to look forward to at the end of a long workday, right?

What could one little taste hurt?

Spoilers here and there

This was actually good. I assume that this book has three parts by the way it ended can’t wait to start the next one because I want to know where Olivia went.

I think she went to Brad for something, that man is horrible and seem to me like he’s trying to ruin things for Olivia. That makes her happy especially with the company that her father and Noah father has build and is giving to them.

I hope Noah and her best friend finds her. Also I know she also has a thing for Noah but she’s trying to fight her feeling for him. Through the hate she has for him. I can’t to see how he shows her how he’s not a bad person.

Book Description:

But I’ve never backed down from a challenge and I’m not about to start now.

Mark my words—I’ll have her begging for me, and it won’t take ninety days.

This Audiobook was actually good. I already knew that Kyler and Finley was going to end up liking each other.

Especially with all that time they spent together. Kyler had to know that he wasn’t going to be thinking about Cassandra < ha that’s why name lol! Once he spent all that time with Finley.

I felt like they were made for each other more so than he with Cassie. Especially when that was a old flame and Finley was a new flame.

Everything work out in the end though! Not sure if they ended up dating though! Idk if I heard that part. I know he said at the that they weren’t dating or something like that

Book Description:

A brilliantly funny, scorchingly sexy new romance from #1 New York Times bestselling author Lauren Blakely!

Picture this – I’m ready to win back the love of my life, and I’m going big this time. We’re talking boom box, sing her name in the rain, let the whole damn neighborhood know I’m good and ready this time around. After all, if you’re going to grand gesture the ever-loving hell out of a second chance, you need to pull out all the stops.

There’s only one little problem.

My college girlfriend isn’t the one who shows up when I play my “I’ll do anything to win you back” tune.

The woman who flings open the second-floor window tells me my ex doesn’t live here anymore. But she’ll help me win her back. Anything for romance, anything for a guy so willing to go big for love. And that’s what I want at first. Until I get to know my new “romance coach” and discover she’s funny, clever, and keeps me on my toes. And boy, do I ever need that.

Now I don’t want to win anyone else’s heart. I want the woman who’s been helping me all along.

Trouble is – she thinks I’m in love with someone else, and when we take off on a road trip, everything I think I know about women is about to be unzipped and turned inside out.

Book Review:

***Spoilers here and there***

I can say I definitely enjoyed this book. I didn’t realize that this was book four. Of the series, I also got all the books so I will be going back and reading it. Book 1 through book three.

I thought both Cameron and Sterling was the right fit for each other. They wanted each other but didn’t want to date. Due to Sterling having to marry someone just to get his inheritance. But in the end; they ended up together and married, plus he still got his inheritance.

It’s was also crazy how his ex tried to slide into the picture again. Knowing darn well that he wasn’t tryin to date her again. Plus, I liked Anna and didn’t like how she tried to shoot her shot at Sterling knowing that Cameron was her friend and Cameron liked him and vise versa.

She looked crazy after she got fired by Olivia. But I still thought she also could’ve kept her job but got put in a different location at her place of work.

Book Description:

Listening Length: 5 hours and 24 minutes

From New York Times Bestseller, Kendall Ryan, comes a sexy new standalone novel.

My tempting, and very alpha friend Sterling Quinn is someone I consider off-limits.

It’s not just that we’re friends, he’s also a cocky, confident, and British, which means he’s a walking aphrodisiac.

But lately he’s been giving me the look. You know the one. When he thinks I’m not paying attention, and his gaze lingers for too long.

And then we start working together, and that’s when the sexual tension between us gets so thick, I want to hack through it with a machete. I want to make all these deep feelings I’ve harbored for him disappear, because there’s no way this can end well.

The lines between business and pleasure become irrevocably blurred, and I’m stuck between a rock, and Sterling’s very, very hard place.

Rather than keep a level head about our growing attraction, Sterling wants to go all in, showing me just how explosive we can be together.

But I’ve been around long enough to know that this British bad boy is more than my heart can handle. I’m not about to be cast aside like yesterday’s underwear when he’s done having fun.

Sterling’s never been told no, and he’s not about to put his ego aside and play by my rules. But I never thought he’d fight so dirty.

*This is a spin-off from the HITCHED series, but can be read as a standalone.

Spoilers splash here and there

Ah finally finished this book it was interesting but I still don’t know what happened with Nathan and why he is like is he is… I’m trying to figure out if I missed something. I’m confused.

Plus the lady who was reading this book I swear she was hot and bothered 😂🤷🏽‍♀️ I could tell but still it was a interesting read . I felt bad for Delilah towards the end what Nathan done to her. Know what she been through growing up with her horrible father. Then the accident; I’m like really my guy? You going to get mad when you see what happened to her but you push her away.

I do wonder if I want to read the other books I do have the full book since it’s a collection. But I might prefer the audiobook like this one instead of reading I’ll see.

Book Description:

Delilah Palmer has control of her life and outward personality, blocking the truth just below the surface. A façade meant to be normal and hide the scars of her childhood. She’s made a good life for herself, became a lawyer, and is free from the tortured past that haunts her daily. Until he comes along and breaks open the cracks.

Nathan Thorne has a past of his own. On the surface he is loved by all, personable, extroverted; everything Delilah isn’t. Hidden beneath is a dark and tormented man that only Delilah has to power to unveil.

Holloway and Holloway Law has a strict non-fraternization policy, forcing them to conceal their breach. Despite their efforts, separation becomes impossible, deceptions escalate, and Nathan has trouble coping; teetering on the edge of being overtaken by his past demons.

What secrets does he harbor that could keep him from giving in? What keeps him from healing and moving forward? And Delilah, where does she fit into all this turmoil?

Book Review:

Spoilers splash here and there

I think I like listing to Lauren Blakely books in audible. But I’m a try another one of her books in ebook and see how I like it.

I definitely enjoyed this audiobook wasn’t disappointed at all. I felt like Cameron and Kristen was a match. Not much I can say about this book to be honest. Both narrators was good, they had you interested in more. Plus Kristen grandma knew that they belong together. Whereas Kristen mom felt that her mom (Kristen grandma) was right for the older guy.

Which I thought was hilarious can’t wait to listen to more or read more of her books. This is her second book I’ve read.

Book Description:

Listening Length: 2 hours and 25 minutes

Kristen Leonard is done with setups. She’s not interested in your son or your nephew or your butcher or the guy who mows your lawn, thank you very much, grandma! After all, she’s a modern woman—she’ll take her chances on the algorithms of online dating to find her ideal man. Before long, she meets a man who might just be the one—he’s hilarious, quick-witted, and full of heart. And when she meets up with Cameron in real life, he certainly looks exactly like his profile picture…but something’s not quite right.

There’s really no telling what brought them together and all bets are off as to whether or not they can trust their hearts over their heads. After all, can you fall in love with someone you’re not sure you really even know?

Dog Food 2 by Raynesha Pittman (Author), Kim Johnson (Narrator)

I haven’t listened 🎧 👂 to a book on audible in a LONGGGGG time. I have books I need to finish and this is one of them.

Book Review:

Spoilers splash here and there

I was confused at first because, each chapter is either Omar or DeMarcus. I’ve read book one. But it’s been awhile; I forgot what actually happened. I feel like Omar a hater; he off so many people that DeMarcus sort of cared about.

To me Omar wants what DeMarcus has. He has so much hatred inside of him for his cousin. Plus Omar more likely going to end up like his mom on drugs using his on work.

It’s crazy learning that they were brothers in the end. Especially when they look exactly alike. DeMarcus really had some haters surrounding in. You could tell. Smh! His own brother and his aunt and others. Just because of what his father did with his mom.

I was glad when Omar got killed I was HAPPY that boy was horrible. Because he killed a lot of people who he shouldn’t have killed all because he wanted to get close to DeMarcus.

It’s sucks that Ciara and others died though! Ciara got what she deserved short of but not really. Because of what she done to DeMarcus and he lost his deal when she lied about the rape.

He came a long way!!! Plus it was funny how Omar wasn’t in a casket like the others. And I was glad that he got his son in the end. It was cute; especially with his son not having to be in the system.

Plus it took me sooooo long to finish this book lol. Gah I’m a be honest the narrator I couldn’t get into her reading for this book. For some reason; but I got through it and I’m glad.

I see now that he ended up with Joyce in the end. Has another child on the way. It’s so cute; especially when he ended up with twins. But I assume they were getting married. But in the end he did ask her to marry him. 😌

Btw what I to know is who that lady was at the end. (The one he saw at the cemetery and who had called him)…

Book Description:

Running and hiding is looked upon as a way out for the weak. It is something Omar never thought he would do. As a child, he didn’t even partake in the game of Hide and Seek for that very reason. Unfortunately, after being sentenced to death by his cousin, Demarcus, Omar was left with no choice.
Moving to Detroit wasn’t as bad as he thought it would be. It didn’t take long for him to reign supreme. However, the change of location didn’t change the conniving and cold-hearted monster that he was inside. It didn’t take the locals long to see the monster that was he. When his lies caught up to him and backed him in the corner, he opted to take the easy way out and leave. With Omar deciding to move back to Memphis after being off the radar for three years, he was now willing to play the game. He wanted it to end in his cousin’s murder, while reclaiming the throne he was kicked down from. But how many people would he be willing to kill to get back what he felt was rightfully his?
Demarcus’s life has turned for the good. He has a relationship with his new found father, runs a large Dog Food distribution ring, and has a few legit businesses that are flourishing on the side. The sheltered mama’s boy has turned into a man. Suddenly, the bodies start piling up and he goes from being the most loved man in the city of Memphis, to being the number one murder suspect in every case that crosses the homicide unit desk.
As the bodies pile up, his past is back to haunt him with a vengeance. But what happens when the true murderer is someone he already knows to be dead?

“Dog Food by Raynesha Pittman (Author), Nicole Small (Narrator)”

Finally reading “Dog Food by Raynesha Pittman” so far it’s actually good. I’ve been wanting to read this book for awhile.

Book Review:

Dude this book was good

Before I get to it, let me say it’s a few spoilers in this book.

But dude, this book was really good I thought I wouldn’t get a chance to finish it, but I did. And I figure that Demarcus dad was lord king and his cousin Omar is one shady dude but Lord King crew some fake ones smh you can never trust the people you feed. The only person you can trust is yourself. I knew Bria was Also talking about Omar and what he did to her, also the females I wonder where they are at > the ones who set up Demarcus on the bogus fake rape charge that they accused him of. And Demarcus shouldn’t have trusted Orlando smh I mean come on Gutta even told him that man is not to be trusted. I can’t wait to start part 2 if dog food. I have been wanting to read this series glad I have gotten the chance, and I wasn’t disappointed at all good book.

I love me some Cole, lol! IDK about Carter, but I like how he cared about EMMA the way he did. And Cole was protective of her too, but I did wonder if Amanda boyfriend aka cop boyfriend knew who those guys were that was coming to pick up Emma maybe not because Cole was actually there. But book 2 was good, even though I felt like it was a drag.
